After 2 months of using a RN4081 I wanted to upgrade to a Janty Stick and to finally try out a 510. I have had nothing but bad luck. I'm not going to mention names because both the retailers I've ordered from are doing their best to correct the issues, but I just need to vent. Excuse me. maybe this will make me feel better.
First I order the Janty Stick, and I get it super fast, like 3 or 4 days later I have it. I'm excited to try it out, but somehow restrain myself and wait till BOTH batteries are charged. I set it up, put the atty in, (I've heard of issues where the atty hasn't screwed in tight enough, so I triple check it) Put a cart in (very happy it was RY4, plus the retailer put in an extra pack of 5 carts) and... Nothing... nothing... It lights up, button works, even goes red after awhile like the videos show... but no vapor, no taste, nothing. I write to the retailer. He says I have a DOA Atomizer, that it sometimes happens, he'll send a new one out to me Monday... it's been over a week now and I still haven't received it. So this unused Janty Stick just sits here in its box. The retailer didn't give me a tracking number so I can't even check on its progress, so it just sits here. I asked him if I could return it, no answer yet. I don't want to return it, but if I can't use it... Maybe I'll just order some attys from somewhere else. I'll probably just do that.
But...
What makes matters worse is that I also ordered a Joye 510, from a different retailer. There was a great deal going on, and I didn't want to miss it. So I order, and I wait... and wait... The tracking numbers say it's been delivered. But it hasn't. I have it sent to my work, like all mail ordering I do, because my apartment has a vulnerable mailing system, strangers could grab my mail at anytime if left outside the mailbox... so I have it sent to my work. My works mailroom says they haven't seen anything for me. I have to track down the post office it was sent to last according to the tracking numbers and call them. And if you live in New York, or even visited, you'll know it's practically impossible to get anything even closely resembling customer service here. But somehow I get through to the post office and they say it's been delivered and Ill have to speak with the mail carrier. So I speak to him and he says it's probably still at the post office.
I write to the retailer, it's not her fault, I don't expect my money back for something the post office claims was delivered, and she offers to send me another kit which she'll charge me for of course, and I'm definitely going to do business with her again, but damn I'm depressed.
So here I am with this 4081, which usually works wonderfully, but maybe it knows I was planning on cheating on it because since last night it's been tasting foul, and the vapor has been weak, even when I change the atty and battery.
Right across the street... know what they sell?
Analogs.
They come in a box, 20 count.
Lots of different flavors.
No charging needed!
No accessories besides a lighter.
The FDA loves them!
I can order on-line from an Indian Reservation and get them for $4 a pack!
I can get the 24/7 with no issues.
I'm about to break down.
