That's sad! I've done quite a bit of selling and buying on eBay. There are times people work and get overwhelmed with life that they can't respond quickly. It seems to me the seller did the right thing and you did the wrong thing. To me, its the same as stealing. You are being dishonest and it will come back on you.

Life isn't about taking people for all they're worth, its about honesty, integrity, and doing the right thing when you know what is right! Keeping an item you know isn't yours is just thievery. Now, karma will come around and I'd say none of them will work for long.

Good luck with all that... :vapor:

Really guys? IMO attacking Jarbs is no better than keeping the second MVP. I think he gets it. Saying it harsher isn't helping make the point.

Nonsense!

Your basing your statement on a faulty perception that indiscriminateness is a moral imperative, that were someone wrong for judging someone whos actions are despicable and cast vapers in a bad light.

How dare you or anyone else come in here and scold those of us who know the difference between right and wrong and have the character to say something about it.

You should be ashamed of yourself for encouraging and enabling this kind of behavior instead of condemning it.

Its people like you and the OP that help to give vapers a bad name.

I think the word "troll" was raised as most people would not condone the resulting action - thus causing a debate and inevitable "outrage" at the action.

I'm 50/50. I don't agree with keeping it, I see it as partly theft (and partly the sellers error). It's like finding a wallet loaded with £50 notes outside a police station.

Yes, I've made mistakes, but trust me, I regret every single one. So yeah, I'd hand it in and post that back. That's my opinion. I don't agree with yours but most people were not going to condone this thread and pat you on the back, so to speak.

No-one can say "hand it back" - it's not for anyone to tell you what to do.

:2c:

I agree totally that it is not anyone's right to tell the OP what to do, or to pass judgment on him. But since he started this thread, I believe that providing feedback is an appropriate response. If not, what's the purpose of the thread?

It seems, from the history, that the seller bent over backwards to make sure his customer was satisfied. I have dealt with many vendors who would not be so accommodating, but who would still be fair. I do not have a problem with that. Crap happens.

From the description, the vendor was MORE than fair, and my opinion is that the OP should at the very least offer to return the double shipment. That is my heartfelt advice. I do not really need to know whether he follows this advice or not; I am not responsible for his behavior, and he is a free adult who must make his own decisions. He should not need my approval, nor fear my disapproval, and whether or not he respects my opinion is his choice.

There is a difference between respecting my opinion, and respecting me. Opinions are like (well you know). Everyone's got one and they all stink.

But I stink worse (at least according to DW!) ;-)

Peace, all! It is all good.

I think there's a right way to say it and a wrong way to say it,,,,,,

you can say that you think someone is wrong without being judgmental,,,,,,and having said it,,,,,it doesn't need to be said 875 times to be effective.
