It's a testosterone gel. IDK if it's over the counter where you are, but I doubt it. You really shouldn't take it without labwork and a doctor's okay, and it may help your muscles, give you an increased sex drive (which may or may not help your confidence with women) but it won't help your skin, possibly make it worse.
Zut, I found the best method for my by using like, medication to get stuff under control, then use topicals, specifically retin A and clindamyicin cream.
MANY topic acne products will worsen your skin before it improves. Retin A is basically a prescription skin peel, and what it does is remove the topmost layer where zits (and wrinkles) form. It's a PITA because many "women of my age" want it for wrinkles so my doc needs to do a prior authorization every time I refill it, going, "It's vanity, but of the type actually designed for it, not the wrinkle issue." LOL.
But my point is, you'll need to be more disciplined and persistent. I love bronner's soap and I use it, too, along with a bunch of other stuff including a face scrub and prescription topicals. I didn't get there overnight, and being both persistent and willing to stick to various methods is going to be what works best.
For me, topicals happen to work best, and they're worth the effort. Bronner's alone (although, I'd use the tea tree version, if you use it) is not going to get you there.
I wish you luck, I know it's miserable, but I still think patience, persistence, and just trying things, until you find something that works, including looking at diet and etc., is going to be your best shot.
Most folks with terrible acne are happy to get to 90% clear. I'm at 95% and counting my blessings.
Best of luck,
Anna
