I got my Raven tanks and cartos a few days ago, and I am not disappointed one bit. I had switched from a standard filler-type carto tank to the Phoenix bottom coil clearomizers a while back to get better flavor out of my juice, but I missed the capacity of the tank. With the Raven, I'm getting the capacity I want and the taste rivals what I've gotten from dripping. Unless you guys can somehow improve on it in a new version, I don't see myself switching to anything else for a long, long time.

Thanks for bringing the Raven to us, GV!

This deal made me bite the bullet and i've had my raven for a couple days now. When it works it's awesome but i only get 2-3 puffs before it's dry and i have to prime it again. The first time i filled it i dropped two drops down the center air tube, filled the tank, let it sit for a couple minutes, then started vaping. I could only get 2-3 hits before it ran dry and i had to puff on it without firing to prime it. I emptied the tank and started over. This time i filled the tank, covered the bottom hole on the 510 connection with my finger and took 3-4 puffs to prime, let it sit for a couple minutes, then put it on my device and started vaping. Same result, 2-3 awesome hits then it runs dry. Can someone help me out?

How thick is the juice you're using? If it's heavy on the VG, that might have something to do with it. I've been told (but haven't tried yet) that cutting the juice with small amount of distilled water will help if that's the case.

Honestly, though, I have found that I have to take a couple of priming puffs after every couple of vapes, as well. Since I've always used a 100% VG juice, it's something that I've been used to, so it's a habit at this point.

Have you tried taking a vape without letting it sit for a couple of minutes? One of my favorite aspects of the Raven tank is that I'm getting smooth, flavorful hits with no waiting. Even on my first fill, I filled the tank, dropped 3 drops in the center, and puffed immediately; I tasted nothing but my juice. If you don't have to wait, at least that takes care of what I consider the biggest annoyance of having to re-prime... when I want to vape, I want to vape!

I'm using Halo Tribeca juice, which looks to me like something between 70-80%PG. The lowest PG in any of my other juices is 60% so i don't think juice viscosity is the issue. Dripping down the center tube after the tank is full seems to be helping. Previously i dripped first then filled. Thanks for responding, i'm sure i'll eventually get it working right.

Does it matter is the wick lines up with the hole on the carto? 6 out of the 8 carts i bought you can easy see the wick is aligned with the two holes on each side of the cart. On 2 of them and the 1 that came preinstalled in the tank the wick is off to the side of the hole, almost like it's behind the wall of the carto. could this be the problem with my wicking?

That I'm not sure about. I'm still on my first cart, and it's been working well, but I think I saw in another Raven thread that a couple of people had to do something to the wick... you might want to do a quick search on the other threads. It sounds like you might be having more trouble than I am, so hopefully there's a quick fix you in there somewhere.

I recently started vaping a higher PG mix, so my biggest problem is forgetting that I don't have to prime as much and flooding the cart. I think I've gone through half a roll of paper towels blowing out excess juice.
