Very nice! are the corners rounded? If so I just got to have one

A couple pics of the latest 14500 mod (and it's sold). Just saying hi and I'm still here, but working on building the 18650's for those people who PM'd me and got in on the pre-order.
This mod was made from the left over wood I had from making a couple test 18650's for the upcoming orders. Wanted to try a few ideas first, both construction and finish wise before I started in with the 18650's. This is a different design for the 14500, narrower but longer, like a mini 18650 mod. Curly maple with rosewood ends and the tiger stripes on this maple really are stunning. You people getting the 18650's are going to be in for a treat I think.

I'm not giving an ETA, other that I really want to have them in everyone's hands before Christmas. I'm in wait mode right now..waiting for my handplanes. These should not only make things easier for me, but improve the build quality. Should get them Monday.
Gotta let someone else have a taste! Besides, you and the other's are getting the same thing, only bigger and with a cooler button.
Seeing as my sig says how I feel about wood pv's. Its time I start buying and stop lurking. Was waiting to see if a juice fed unit was in the works. Time to set my alarm so I can compete with gaunt n secure me one of these. Bahnzo these are beautiful. I would really love to see some of the sunburts coloring. Those mandolins were awesome. But all those 45 minute sessions are time consuming.

Glad to hear That!I got my 14500 Mod this week its sweet.
From the amount of interest in the 18650's, it looks like I'll be making quite a few after I finish with this pre-order batch. And I can understand why..the 18650 battery is a very good match for the LR 510 atty. Has enough "oomph" to power it, and lasts a LONG time.
