Just thought this would be interesting as well as funny and nostalgic. Found this using google. Brought back a few memories.

Hope that link works. I'll add to the list does anyone remember Clackers, they were 2 hard plastic balls about 2" in diameter connected together by a string, man how my wrist hurt a few times when missed. Lol.

Had an article a couple of years ago about the contents of our beloved 'Chemestry Sets'
Seems they used to put all kinds of great chemicals in them...one set had a little vile of cyanade..
enough to finish off your family.
Don't remember what was in mine..back in the 60s...don't remember...dont remember...
but me and another teacher were reminsising about 'Mercury' we used to play with.

Yeah I remember breaking moms thermometer to play with the mercury, and also playing with it as issued in science class in school no gloves etc.

Worst one was breaking my Etch-a-Sketch on the landing rug....
that powder was so fine...there was no washing it off.
I was 'shiny' for weeks...the rug was trash...and my mom was 'red'.

EDIT: Wait, now that I think about it, it would make more sense to ban heads.

Too many things to remember.. Like my 1st TV video game set.. only had one game and you couldn't change it.. Pong... it was a good thing our tv was only black and white.. I don't know what I would have done if we had color!!!!!!
