My father bought one of those machines and I was making cigarettes by the hundreds for him and my mom during my early teens.

But it was the candy cigarettes that got me started smoking.

Seriously, I considered getting a T2 just prior to starting vaping but I figured I'd get tired of making cigarettes before long and the machine would sit in a dark corner of a cabinet in the house.

As it turns out, It would have been rendered useless due to vaping. Either way, I'm happy I didn't buy one.

I used the Gambler UFO. I could make a perfect cigarette in 3 seconds...

I started rolling my own because of a huge tax hike that passed into law here in TN. About 6 months later an additional dollar per pack Tax took effect....Then they raised the tax on loose leaf tobacco because of tax shortfalls due to folks RYO'ing....Now they're trying to raise the tax on pipe tobacco since many have switched to that. We began to feel like the state was pursuing us unfairly to make up for their shortfalls.. There is no doubt in my mind that eventually the state will come after us again for tax monies on Vaping. I still continued to Smoke tobacco despite the continual goal post rearrangements. The reason we started vaping was due to some health issues that arose. I still feel a bit haggard from the RYO tax drama that TN created to harass smokers and although I'm prepared to fight the good fight should that be necessary, I may just start vape 100% PG and say to hell with it...:vapor:

I never thought this topic would get such a diverse amount of feedback but I have definitely learned a ton from reading the posts! Thank all of you for weighing in and sharing your thoughts and insight. One thing i would like to add, if I may, is that no matter what, we all need to stick together in this or we will be outcasted and taxed to death for altering our lifestyles to make our lives better. No matter what the politicians do to try to stop the vaping community, they need to remember that we do make up a portion of their constituency and do vote! The numbers are there and growing daily! Thanks to everyone for helping understand the hill we face as the vaping community!
