Bartleyby vs AoV HotBox

Hey guys,

I've only been vaping for a few weeks and already onto my first mod. I guess I'll use this as a stepping stone before I really go up to the big boys like the ProVari or one of the Reos units.

I was originally looking for a USB pass through for my eGo clone, but a nice member introduced me to these simple box mods. I think I've decided on the Bartleby or the HotBox from Ace of Vapes. Both seems to be pretty well respected. From what I can tell, the Bartleby would be a little more rugged than the HotBox, but also is about twice the price, roughly, after the AoV new customer coupon.

Any further comparisons between these two? If I want to do this right the first time, hoping to limit the number of mods that end up in the drawer unused, is the Bartleby the way to go? I'm all for saving money, but I want to buy quality, too.

I don't believe the Bartleby is being created anymore, so you'd have to find one used....

Fully charged, the bartleby is 4.2 volts. Its really sturdy supposely.

they're both good box mods, both fully charge to 4.2v, both usb charge, both can be used as a passthrough. the black box IS a bit less brittle than the colored/clear boxes...so if you drop stuff, that might be something to consider.
