I apologise in advance for the long post here but, "batteries are Confusing!"
I've decided to go with the "smoktek (R) Hyper SRT II (510)" ($20)
[ The Smoktech R-Tank - Chrome ]
[NOTE: The regular smoktek Hyper SRT II seems to have problems with overheating.

My problem is that, like everywhere else, they don't suggest what type of battery to use with it.
So here's my ignorance: It seems apparent that the 'bare battery' needs to match the ATTY and
also, that the 'bare battery' needs to match your choice of battery 'container/unit'.
Q. How can you be sure that you are getting the right battery for your ATTY?
Unfortunetly VERY few sites give any suggestion as to what battery goes with their ATTY.
(Shouldn't there be 'compatability charts'?) The way most ATY's are presented, the uninformed could
easily buy just the ATTY, and expect it to be ready to go, out of the box!
Q. Is there a proper (generic) name for these battery 'container/units', in difference to the
'bare battery'??!
Most sites call their bare batteries 'Batteries', and then they call the units that house the
batteries 'Batteries'. With this, it's hard to search for information, to ask which batteries can
go with which 'Battery'/container.
For the SmokTek (R) I'm considering a "Joye EGO USB Manual 650mah Battery (510) with USB Charger"
($20). The sites offering this of course say nothing about whether it's disposable, or if you
can/should also stock up on 'bare batteries' to swap out as they charge. And of course it, doesn't
tell you the 'perfect batteries for it, or whether there are optional size batteries that can fit
into it. [I'd like a years supply = 1 'battery unit' + 1 battery to swap out. Does this sound
right?]
Q. Can I swap out a 1100mah or higher battery for longer life?
If you can use whatever battery you'd like - to experiment with - that'd be great. BUT, if there
are only a limited (or 1) battery that fits the unit, shouldn't this be stated on their site?!! I
can easily see buying the wrong batteries, and then having to return them (yea, right)!
I would certainly like to know the 'perfect fit' for the SmokTek (R), but these fundamental
questions really bug me. It seems that they are so apparent that nobody bothers to refer to them.
It's odd though, you would think that if the sellers would want you to be a 'one-stop-shopper',
that they'd go out of their way to tell you what fits their ATTY's and their 'battery units'. These
are usually very detailed sites, but despite this, they often don't even tell you what connection
type (i.e 510, 801) they are, or what size drip-tip to use!!
These are probably very 'newbie' questions, but that's why I'm here. If someone could help
explain all of this I would really appreciate it. - THANX!!
