As I sit on the beach here on beautiful Sanibel Island, I am pondering my battery choices for my ipv 2 that is in vape mail. I have a couple of VTC 5's and some 18650 IMR High Drain Panasonic CGR18650CH 10A that I use in my Vamo. Will I be ok to use the Panasonic's in the IPV2 or is there a minimum amp rating I should be looking for. I will rarely get over 30 watts I believe. Thanks! Enjoy the beachy eye candy

The 10a pannys are probably not enough. The Evolv 30w chip specifies a 12a draw at max output. The 50w ipv will need more at max settings.

Information is scarce regarding what the max draw of the chip is. Bare minimum, I would hazard to guess a 20a battery, minimum. The 30a VTC's are probably your best bet.
