I'm looking to buy a 30 amp battery and was wondering what kind of brands you guys suggest, and let me know what your using to.

And what do you use to charge 30 amp batteries??

I would suggest sony vtc4s. Best batteries ive ever owned. Lil less amperage but still super good quality are the mnkes

The only thing I've been able to find is a car charger. A 12v car battery is about 20amps. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. That would be one heck of a mod!

I also have a preference for the Sony vtc4 at 2100 mAh and 30A. I think I would go with the AW 1600 mAh 24A as my second choice.

I use a Xtar WP2 charger. The other Xtar models and the Intelichargers are great too.

Not sure what you're doing with this puppy. Don't use it to charge your mod batteries, or you'll have burning/exploding batteries in no time. If you're using it to power your own mod design, well, that's interesting but at best it's going to fry any normal resistance atty in a flash (pun intended ). At worst you're going to be in a lot of pain.

I have 2 Sony 18650VTC4s and they work great for me. I charge them in an Efest LUC V4 charger. It displays the voltage and charge level.

yes !Sony VTC4 2100 mah is good ! the Max discharge ampere can reach 30A .

i use other brand charger that can showing the exact voltage and charger level too ! also it can testing the battery exact capacity automatically !

The Sony us18650vtc4 has the reputation as the top 30 amp battery, but there are other candidates available for sub-ohm also:

I use a few Sony US18650VTC4 batteries. They are a work horse. Charged daily on an XTAR WP2II intelligent charger.
