Generally I find that people who are hung up on how I say what I say aren't my target audience. They tend to read malice and falsity into posts that don't exist. They are usually lost causes. I'm not writing for them, but to counteract misinformation for others who are reading with a critical mind.

C'mon man, I just sent a hug...

Are you referring to me as being one who is hung up on how you say things?

Your target audience is whomever might be reading this thread, and I can guarantee you that that ranges from newbies to very experienced vapers.

Your psychological perspective, while interesting, is insulting. I have never read malice and/or falsity into any of your posts. I am far from a lost cause. I'm here to learn. You may not be writing for me, but please understand that I am reading you, and I would like to understand more of what you have to say.

Harsh truths will always be better than sweet lies. A fact is fact no matter how it's said or who says it.

I'm glad that you feel that way. Therefore you shouldn't be upset with us letting you know that your way of delivering information (riddles anyone?) is a turn-off to most people here. At least those willing to be honest with you. Others have simply learned to ignore your posts.

The ECF has a way of letting posters know if their posts are helpful or benefitual to individuals or the community at large. It is the "like" button. How helpful or benefitual have you been to the community here - how many likes have your posts received? People can request mentors to be "friends" so that they can more easily follow their threads and posts. How many friend requests have you received?

You may not be trying to win any popularity contests here, but I suspect that you have a lot more to offer this forum, and can do that more effectively with a more positive influence and a more kinder, gentler delivery.

Battery do... makes me think hair style, but oh nevermind...

Battery do: test your batts on a multimeter before and after charging. Let batts rest for awhile (help me out here with the correct length of time guys) before charging.
Let batts rest for an hour or two AFTER charging.

That's the long and short of it. I'm interested in facts related to the topics and putting them out there. I am especially interested in correcting misinformation. If someone searches for an answer I want them to have the answer. I am not putting on a show, I am putting information down for the record. I do not care to make posts like the one you just did which have nothing to do with the topic yet garner multiple "likes." I do not believe it's helpful to have pre-prepared, oversimplified copy-and-paste posts to regurgitate every time a topic comes up, whether or not anything in the prepared information relates to the poster's actual question. IMO that only leads to unnecessary clutter in otherwise useful threads, making it harder to find actual relevant information.

Since I found myself repeating the same information to the same questions over and over again, I have found it more helpful and efficient to me to make "pre-prepared, oversimplified copy-and-paste posts" and make blog articles with useful information which I can link to when relevent and appropriate to the subject matter. There is a wide range of vapors who seek information on ECF, from beginners to advanced, so even if some information might appear to be "oversimplified" to you, there are many who have trouble understanding even the basics.

This system works for me and for many others here on the forum. Although I have never sought them out, I have over 150 ECF members who have requested to be my friend so that they can more easily follow my posts. I see that you have made 0 friends on ECF despite being here exactly one month longer than me.

You may not care for my approach in helping others. I don't care for yours. My methods work for me and have benefited numerous people here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/442156-thrasher-badatitude-dynamic-duo.html

Have a good day, dear dr. And now back to our daily scheduled program....batteries do's and don'ts.

Congratulations, you win the popularity contest. And with only 8,700 more posts too.

Dont use a batt that has the covering damaged and showing the metal on the batt,it may create a very fast short by contacting the inside of the Mod.

It only really matters if it's in a bottom firing mech mod, but yeah. The general policy is to replace it if any of the covering is damaged.

Don't always trust customer feedback when you are trying to find the proper battery to purchase.

I kind of went green when I saw these customer feedbacks on an ICR, no protection circuit, unbranded battery in a short size. According to ECF these are unsafe batteries for our usages, most especially so when stacked. (And candlepower battery guru's have many posts and threads on not using stacked unprotected batteries of this type in flashlights.)

"works great wits kts+ and innokin svd, highly recommended"I

"Good if short is very important to you. Otherwise, 18650 is the better buy for the money. Is an inexpensive way to have charged batteries as spares for e-cig. Can even carry spare in pocket."

"Buyed pair of this batteryes for my vamo-mod, as spair. I'm can vipe about 1.5 days without changing and think, it's a very good result."

Do Not Use Unprotected Li-ion or Unprotected ICR batteries in your APV's.
If it doesn't say it's protected in the description, it isn't.
