Sometimes some dual mods do tend to drain one of the batteries more than the other. If the batteries you have are matched and in good working order one piece of advice would be to mark the batteries A and B or 1 and 2.
When you reinsert your batteries into your mod after charging, alternate the position of the batteries each time. This hopefully should help after a few charge cycles to help balance them out.

Welcome to ECF, Terry. Just to clarify what Richard said (which is a great suggestion), and by no means am I trying to be condolent (meaning talking down to someone  ), if you have 4 batteries in total they should be marked A B C D or 1 2 3 4 or whatever. You should by all means check out what Mooch (our resident battery guru) has to offer. View his videos here - Battery Mooch. He also has a blog here - Mooch, and view - Mooch's Recommended Batteries | E-Cigarette Forum.

I recently bought 2 sets of 18650 batteries 3015mAh new from my local shop.
I use them in a SMOK E-priv mod,2batteries to operate. After full charge on separate charger one battery will drain while other is about 3/4 full still, they are married sets too, anyone know why how to fix this, thx.
    Welcome and glad you joined.
Could take them back and exchange for a matched set.

Firstly, what battery make and model are they?
Reverse the battery position, and also which mod they are in. If the behaviour follows then one of the batteries is borked.
If not then you have a faulty or under-maintained mod, or possibly battery charger.

Is it happening with both sets? If so, the mod's the problem. Clean the battery contacts (using Q-tips or a pencil eraser or something of the sort). If that doesn't fix it, replace the mod. I'm afraid SMOK doesn't have a good reputation for quality.

I'm also a bit concerned about the batteries. I'm not familiar with any good batteries with a capacity of 3015 mAh. Do they have a brand or other information printed on them? It's important to stick to appropriately-specced batteries from Samsung, LG, Sony/Murata, Sanyo/Panasonic or Molicel, and to buy them from a reliable supplier. If you could let us know what country you're in, we might be able to point you in the direction of a reliable supplier who could cut your risk of ending up with counterfeits.

Yeah I'd buy batteries from approved suppliers not your shop. They can be found on Mooch's blog, and they are often way cheaper than the shop
    .
Your shop may not be malevolent they may not know they have counterfeits or maybe they have been sitting around forever.

I agree that may not be ALL of your problem, given its happening with two sets but like buying good batteries may be a good place to start. Some may also be older than others although I am also kind of suspecting your mod or charger.

    Good luck.

I bought my initial setup at a B&M (brick & mortar shop). Then I was traveling to other shops to learn, talk, and try flavors. When travelled for business, it was my only travel treat since I could only find an hour or two per day to visit shops. I saw a lot of things. They have overhead costs that included rent and employee pay and they get the lowest cost items to help their profit.

Then I learned about the cheaper prices of online merchants. Online merchants don't have a sign along the street to really advertise and pull in impulse buying. I find them to have a straighter sales pitch and relying on word of mouth, like here on ECF.

I would look here for recommendations. They tend to have better quality available and a lower profit margin.

I read these forums every day and hear good things based upon other's experiences.

    Just my experience. Good luck!

I'm thinking 3000+ mAh 18950's and sub ohm vaping, but there's no 3000+ mAh 18650's capable of sub ohm vaping.

21700's of course are able to do it though.

But so far the OP hasn't replied and sought more information as well as provided more information.

At least we can say that we have tried.

I find it very depressing when someone starts a thread, asks for advice and then disappears--and helpful ECF members end up "talking amongst themselves." :D

    Agree.

I guess that it's a result of the rule that requires a number of posts to prove you aren't a bot before entering forums. We can always include their username preceded by the ampersand sign to notify them that people have responded. Mordacai did that uptopic.

I'm not sure what you mean. The OP started this thread in the NM forum--s/he can read, post and reply all s/he wants, any time, with no restrictions.

Yes, but if they leave and someone wants to pass on an answer to their question they can make the post and add an & before the username and that person will be notified of the reply and hopefully they return. Otherwise, they are in the wind.

In the wind? When you start a thread and ask for advice, you watch your thread, don't you? Especially when it's your only thread. :D

I just got my first dual battery mod (haven't tried it yet but have two new batteries ready to go) Thanks for the tip.
