I was looking through the local news website when I stumbled upon this video. I hope it's impossible this can happen with reputable e-cigarettes...
Yeah, good luck with that.He intends to sue the manufacturer of the battery.
It appears he had a loose battery in his pocket and it shorted out with the coins he also had in there.Wow didn't want to stir up any rage or disagreements but here is the original news story I read

I was just curious to know how that could happen
I still wouldn't toss the batteries in a bag like that. It's asking for trouble. Fully possible that the battery will come loose some way, get scratched by keys, or get damaged in some other way.My headlight on my bicycle uses 18650 batteries also. I have about 10 of these silicon 18650 sleeves, and I keep extra batteries for the headlight and vape. They get loosely tossed into the backpack with keys, bike tools and water. Works great and I've never had a problem that way.

i always use those. I think they are 2 or 4 for a buck at Fasttech.

Just a spinet translated. "It is not known what caused the explosion but Brite keeps the battery has been in contact with the coin in his pocket that caused the short circuit.
He intends to sue the manufacturer of the battery."
