All i know is that unprotected batteries for regulated APV (vamo) and (im not sure) protected for smok w/o kicks or fuse? Like the insulating film at the negative side needs to cover more of the area.

But you really need to know what resistance youre using for ur RBA, if you are going to do a sub ohm, i would recommend a higher amp output, more than 10A to be safe, that would mean lowering down the mah. If you really want a high mah then youre resistance(ohms) would need to be at least over 1.3 or stick with protanks or something similar where you dont have to make your own coils.

Like the other person above me said, refer to Baditude, he's one of the best, if not, the best battery guru in here. Altho sooner or later im pretty sure he would post a really long but really useful reply here with links to threads that you need to read.

Stick with lMR batteries for safety. There are some 30A Panasonics out there that are highly recommended.

This one is a 10A battery. I've rotated 4 of these in and out of the charger for a year and a half and they are still going strong.
