Yup the next run of BB's will have these bottoms, still don't condone using 6v but figured this would be a better option for those that ignore this warning and use unprotected cr2's -.-
You mentioned "a better option for those that ignore this warning and use unprotected cr2's" Can you please confirm that these are honed out enough for those of us that want to use "Protected CR2's"? The protected ones are a little longer and I want to confirm those will fit before I order. Thanks!!!

So, I got my BB on Monday, and on Tuesday the newest bottom is released? Now I have to buy a new bottom that if I had waited days I would have got for free?

If you had waited days you'd have gotten a Pink one - that's all that's left in stock! ;)

I am also waiting to order some 1.6 ohm 510s. Maybe the longer bottom will be a moot point. I really hope these hit the sweet spot! :p

Actually, right now, one could buy a BB head and a new, long BB bottom. They are both only available in black so you would have an all black BB with new, longer bottom and save a few bucks.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Weird though. If they got the tops and they got the bottoms, what are they missing to sell the whole unit?

Maybe the bottom doesn't come with a spring? lol.

Little help here, Rob!

Quick answer yes, was the whole reason behind the longer bottom :)
