I am thinking of playing with Custard... no diacetyl... Mixing the Cap v2 with some of Killer juice's Custard that is really not sweet but heavy and eggy... it is also dark brown in color from the vanilla but think the toasted marshmallow might work or perhaps maple... just know that brown sugar, caramel and the like aren't what I am looking for. My gramma used to make us egg custard, she would unmold it onto a plate and top with maple syrup... was always a favorite and a good way to use a lot of eggs. When you have chickens, you look for ways to use them. Neighbors only want so many it seems.

I was talking to a somewhat big juice mfg'r / supplier the other day ago that said he liked the Cap V1 custard better than the V2 because in his opinion it had a more eggy taste to it than the V2, said he wasnt a fan of the V2...?

I have not bought any stands yet, but my growing pile of vape stuff demanded I at least try to get organized. My latest solution? I put a bunch of shot glasses into a wooden box that has low sides and put each of my tanks into it's own shot glass. Looks a little kooky, but it keeps things tidy and at the ready. Mods are still just lined up, standing on their own bottoms on my dresser.

The juice bottles is where things get ugly! Drawers full of half empty bottles with no end in sight!

Nice looking brooms, I bet you get alot of the wiccan trade. Ya know witches and such. Plus those corn type brooms are the best ever made. In fact you know how hard it is to find a good corn brush broom. those cheap plastic ones blow.....

Like your new set up, I hear Kamry K100, is a little tank and hit great and lasts forever.....
Actually, living in the southern bible belt if I am getting their trade they're not announcing it. However, I am also in an area still populated with back-to-the-earthers and homesteaders and the rustic/beautiful/functional appeals to them. I also have a few collectors that buy one of everything...
IMO I think the wooden drawer one is the best, not liking the 3D printed plastic stuff much. I think they have a ways to go yet to refine the operation
I like the looks of the wooden one. I really really like the utility of the unit with a building deck and included ohm meter. And I just love the Lego-like modularity of the plastic one... but they are rather ugly.

You and I are a match! Or at least cut from the same forgetful cloth!

When I ordered my first vamo I needed to get a charger and batteries. The charger arrived first and when the vamo and batteries arrived I could not find the dang charger anywhere. I turned over the whole house looking for the thing and after an exasperating several hours I threw in the towel. I thought someone had broken in to the house and stolen it!! Nothing else, just my new 4 bay charger LOL! Now I couldn't even use my new mod and so I had to order another one and wait. Cut to the end. About 2 months later I was putting groceries in my trunk and moved an old jacket out of the way to make some room...yeah, there it was!! I realized that I had opened the box that the charger came in while I was in the garage because I got the mail as I was on my way out to a doctor appointment, so I must have put it in the trunk. Not sure how it got under the jacket?!?!?!:facepalm::facepalm::laugh::laugh::laugh:

It's called oldtimers and if you are a younger type person, I feel sorry for ya, because it gets worse as you age.

The worse is when you misplace your vape and after searching the whole house and a couple of acres of land, you find it in your shirt pocket. And you just know that was the first place you patted at the beginning. I sometimes think a little gremlin or something took it and then put it back just to mess with me....
Same with car keys, a certain bottle of juice and of course my mind......

Welcome to my world!!!!!!!

got a creme brulee flavoring that alone just doesnt taste good, nothing close to a sweet custardly lightly burned sugar flavor i expected... cant remember the mfg
I remember you mentioning that flavor a while back.I've searched around a bit and never found it,but if it doesn't taste good, then i don't need to bother looking anymore haha.I just made my first diy creme brulee yesterday, but it will be quite a while before it's complete.I followed a recipe inthe diy section, and it uses a homemade vanilla extract,so i bought some vanilla beans to extract, but they have to soak for 8 weeks  so since i know that capella vanilla custard takes a good while to mature anyway,i went ahead and mixed the rest of the recipe so it can age for the 8 weeks as well, then when the vanilla is done,i'll add it and give it maybe another week. This is a clone of my favorite creme brulee juice,so if it turns out even close, then i will be making this up by the gallon haha.I have bought another cb juice that is alot cheaper and almost as good as the one i really like, but the vendor is the slowest i have ever dealt with,my first order was a contest win,and took over a month to get,i figured it was a fluke, maybe something happened,so i blew it off.I really liked the one juice,so i made a paid order,i made the order the first week of January, and still have not recieved it,i got a progress email like 2 weeks ago,but still nothing,so needless to say, this is my last order with them, which if this diy one comes out like it should, then i will be set for a very long time on my favorite juice anyway haha.

Actually think KJ may have been the first to make custard without the diacetyl. Custards really do take a long time to develop... a month is generally when I go back to test them. I seem to prefer the ice creams and such over the custards but son panics when he starts on his last 30 or 50 ml bottle

b.m. Care to share the recipe?

What are you soaking the vanilla beans in??? Base or whisky?

I hear you on the bottles... that's why I've been trying to finish off older bottles before I break open a new one (I might break that rule today when I gather the energy to go clean my gear).

As far as storing tanks, I've been cutting up the boxes my Kanger tanks come in, using the outer sleeve as a bucket that I partition into four spaces. Voila! Four 23 mm slots! My problem, I've found, is that, without the cushion/support at the bottom, the pins of the 510 connectors are slowly being pushed back in to the thread sleeve, requiring me to push them back out. As I mentioned in my last post, I think I need to find some way to support the tanks without putting pressure on the pin. I'm considering something like those rubber gaskets used for garden hoses....

You might have something there! I have kept all of my orignal kanger boxes.....yep more vape stuff I have taking up space!! But maybe I can do something productive with them. I have never thought of myself as a crafty diy kind of person, but desperate times call for martha stewart measures!!

One other thing I did in the past was to utilize a juice sampler tin that had several holes in the foam for an ego stand. In fact, I got that idea from someone here on the forum who discovered that it had the perfect size holes in the foam from the juice bottle samples and had used it this way and posted about it. You have me thinking that some of the other vape boxes might be able to be turned into mini stands as well. I'm going to have to snoop around my drawers that have all that stuff and see if something looks good. TY for the idea!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I put little round discs of cut out rubber mesh from from some old place matts and put them at the bottom of the shot glasses for some cushion. Plus they wash off easily.

very colorful! I have some regular black ones.
its hard for me to stock a lot of different accessories. I would really like to stock a lot more different things

My vote for today is still the Kanger subtank colored o-rings, but at a fair price. When a vendor does carry accessories or replacement parts, they are marking them up anywhere from 5-10x their wholesale price. When I find a vendor selling at accessory I am looking for at a fair price, I'll browse that store for other things I need.

1. Todays pick is the Subtank Nano. I have 3 regular subtanks that I love, but just got the Nano the other day and haven't stopped using it since. I want a few more of the Nano's for juice that I don't want to vape 6 ml of before changing flavors. The Nano also fits nicely on my Istick 20 and I can use the1.2 ohm coils on it and take it with me when I leave the house. The Istick 50 with the regular subtank on it is kind of big to use on the go.

I'm looking at oldtimers designation in the rear view, haha! I'm probably older than most on the forum. Being forgetful and a absent minded has been a life long affliction, however. On the brighter side of things, I often find a bottle of juice that I'd forgotten about in a dark spot that I'd put away for steeping and forgotten. Or if I'm really lucky, some cash in a pocket of jeans I haven't worn in a while :)

Another vaping story that really made my family laugh and they still tease me about is when I bought the same juices twice in one day. Yes, you read that correctly. Lists are a big help to me, and one of the things on that day's agenda was to order my wife's juices. This list of chores was a long one and by the end I looked back to see what I still had to do, but I had forgotten to cross the earlier juice order off the list , so I put the order in again. My family puts up with a lot!!

Great idea. Are they stable enough to let the tanks stand up on the bottle top for storage and rebuilding? I always put my kayfun deck on a mod to build it so that it is stable, so this could be a good solution.

For tanks I have started taking the tops of soda bottles and putting a hole in them just big enough for the 510 connection to fit, works well.
