THANKS ! ! ! All the "e-liquid I have has been kept in a Cool Dark place (not frozen - no room in freezer for anything but food ;) ) - That's why I forgot about some of it . . .

Some are dated - others not, so any not dated, over 2 Years or older - "Heat" & "Dump" is in it's future . . . :(

For "NancyR" and "Everyone" Else - FYI: Cellu Cotton is readily available at most Beauty Supplier Stores and is quite reasonable depending in the amount "You" want since it comes in a variety of different packaging . . . (Like Sally's: Graham CelluCotton Cotton Coil PRICES FROM: $1.99 - $11.49) . . . AND - Even less expensive if "You" have a Friend in the business . . . :D Or - The next time "You" go to your local Beauty Salon for service - since they usually have a very large box around - Just ask if they might give/sell ya' a small amount too . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

If "You" think those are really beautiful - Ya' should see some of "Shawn's" other Artwork too . . .

If going through Sally Beauty just make sure you read as they have 2 different things they call Cellucotton... One is Rayon and the other is Cotton.

I have no "this is the one" tank or clearo. I have those I love but use many of them for different reasons.
Clearo type The ARO has to be the one, the Aerotank for my fav Tobacco flavor due to how it tastes in it and the Naut, for a sweet juice that mellows out in it for another.
The sub ohm ones are good for full flavor and vapor and of course my different drippers depending on the build, well size or just want to drip.
So really I love alot of my toppers for different reasons....

Ok, the above made no rhythm or reason at all.

Drat.....

2/22. 5

That's silly ...of course it had rhyme or reason. Since I have owned so few tanks I really didn't know that you used different tanks for different things. I would have never thought that a tobacco or a sweet juice tastes better in a certain tank. Lol, my husband thinks I am set up for life with one tank and one battery. He also thinks vaping will save me money.....lol. I think I am just about to get into the good stuff and there is so much to explore......sweet, fruity, nutty, etc plus all the tanks and batteries. Cigarettes were one flavor and one pack.

Is everyone's favorite tank one of the sub ohm tanks? My best tank right now is the nautilas and before that I used a pro tank 2. The nautilus is much better than the pro tank 2 but I no sooner got the nautilas and all the sub ohm tanks came out. Right now I don't have a battery to power a sub ohm tank but I would like to get both. Can someone explain why it is the best tank? Is it because you can blow bigger clouds or is it because it is a warmer vape? Maybe it is just a much better flavor.? I wish you could try them before you buy them but you can't so I figured I would ask experienced vapors why they like them so much. I know I won't be building coils and I don't care what size my clouds are...I just like a good flavor to come through and a nice throat hit.....are these tanks for me, ? if not what do you recommend? Thanks so much because I really don't want to smoke cigarettes and don't mind spending the money for something that is good.
I have not yet tried any of the sub-ohm tanks, so I cannot speak from personal experience. However, I would like to point out that the Kanger SubTank does have two types of pre-made heads (0.5 ohms for "sub-ohm" and 1.2 ohms for non-sub-ohm) and two of the versions come with an RBA deck to build any resistance coil, should you so desire. I don't know which of the other sub-ohm tanks have heads that are non-sub-ohm (although, I believe, the Delta II tank has a RBA section that can be purchased separately).

That said, the tanks I use are mostly Aerotanks, simply because I made a large investment, early on, in Kanger coils and they all work in all of my tanks. I hear the Nautilus has good flavor, and the Nautilus Mini has even better flavor, but I have never tried either. There used to be (maybe still are?) huge arguments as to which is superior--Aspire or Kanger--but I think the best tank is what keeps you away from cigarettes. If you're happy with what you have, stay with that.

I would love to see more custom parts for popular mods. It is so much better having a device and atty that work great, and then being able to make it your own. Custom topcaps, custom mod boxes and box mod doors, 20x1 buttons and topcaps, 20x1 tubes. cases for box mods that are as functional as phone cases are. Maybe a design a mod section with Custom etching available. These are the things I do to my mods to make them my own. Everyone wants something that is there own, with the way clones are and everything, individuality is key.

My customized gear
http://i.imgur.com/UbYdb2A.jpg

My prefered device is my ipv3 with my authentic kayfunv4 with s-kit and steamtuners spring update and koh gen do cotton. Because it has amazing flavor and is very simple to throw any build on and turn my watts to where I want it.

80vg/20pg flavor and clouds

I do diy sometimes. Love my vanilla and oak home extract

The first time I vaped I bought a dripper and mech then I was showed how to wrap a coil at the shop. "10 wraps for a 1ohm coil," I was told. So I wrapped up a coil, while telling her how I did something similar when I was little to make a light saber. Taped together 8d batteries and some wire. I finished my first build and she tested it. It came in at a perfect 1.00ohms.

there are quite a few people out there building custom boxes and coatings, I dont have the capacity or capital to provide those services and parts for an occasional sale.
I know people in the business like OCD who is a neighbor and aquaintance of mine. If someone needed those services I would refer them out.
Yea, IPV 3's are great mods I prefer them myself.

I suppose if you use the same gauge wire on the same diameter spindle everytime you could achieve 1 ohm but change the spinlel or the wire gauge and... well it's not one ohm anymore. many variables in the coil game.

Is that going to be in stock soon Bruce? It looks like it might help hold me over until the one I want gets back in stock at your supplier's, and the price is right!

Sigelei Mini 30 Watt

edit: what does 1 amp charger only mean? does it work with a standard cellphone charger?

edit again: I see the date now, you must have just put that on there???

indeed a standard cell phone charger or usb port. they dont want you plugging it in to a high amp source etc.
I thought you saw my reply to RG last night. I ordered them last week :)

I tried to answer your question a few minutes ago, but I ended up rambling, and canceled the post.

What do you have for a battery? It sounds like an ego or spinner type? Anyway, one battery isn't enough, because if it goes south on you, you're going to be very unhappy. I would recommend something like an iStick, even if it isn't the most powerful one, to go along with whatever you are using now. Always have at least two devices, in case one stops working, or one needs charging when you are away from a power source. Most people would agree that three are better, so you have a backup for your backup. That will make you much happier than a sub ohm tank. :)

I do rebuild most of the time, but I normally build in the 1 - 1.2 ohm range. I also have a subtank, but I like the 1.2 ohm coils just as well as the .5 ohm coils. I plan on rebuilding it most of the time, but I am going to get a pack of the 1.2 ohm stock coils. They will work with my old MVP 2.0 and my Vamo 5, as well as my mechs and the newer regulated devices, and I get just as good a vape from them.

From what you are saying, I wouldn't worry about a sub ohm tank, because you probably wouldn't benefit from it that much, but you would benefit from a better regulated mod, so you can experiment with different wattages and voltages. :)

I think maybe I was reading so many posts that I didn't remember which device you were talking about!!! I still want that other Sigelei if it ever comes back in stock more, but with the price of this one, it looks like a really nice mod!

So the stepped one is better than the coil Jig? Yeah, I do keep hearing good things about the Coil Master, it's good that they listened about labeling it!

both would work well but I think the coil jig would be easier on the fingers than the coil stick

Hazelnut lovers are few and far between [emoji12] Hazelnut is what I vape everyday all day. I started to diy so that I could make my perfect hazelnut, and since I vaped it so much it made it much cheaper for me. Cap. hazelnut version 2 flavoring is also very good. I invented the best hazelnut for my taste ever a while back! If you are interested I can pm you the flavorings (2) that i used and the recipe so you can try it :) I am obsessed with hazelnut! Lol

Indeed! PM me w/it. Thanks in advance!

I was thinking the same thing. I probably will get the stick as well though, because it probably will fit into that little ego case you sent me way back when. That's where I keep a few screwdrivers, a little kanthal, a few cotton balls, a couple of allen wrenches, nail clippers and a pair of manicure scissors. It's my portable rebuilding tool kit!

He was the best. I am so sorry you lost your friend as well.... :( It sucks when pets pass away, because they become a part of the family and it is hard when you lose them. My bf got me a puppy a few weeks before I lost Ram, and I swear if I did not have the puppy it would have been even harder. My puppy (around 3months old now) also licks the air at my vape clouds too! Lol

we had 4 dogs when Oliver passed away in September, the little one we found last year just turned 2 this month, she is a small deer chihuahua (Oliver was a black and white chihuahua) It seemed he was grooming her for the inevitable. he would always try to be where i was. since he has been gone the little one is stepping into his shoes and is doing many of the things he did. for the first week or so after he died I could tell she was looking for him, the other 2 dogs didnt really seem to care.
anyway..............

they provide the best of both worlds, great flavor, clouds if you want them and the ability to use factory coils or build your own. best device kanger has ever produced. they needed to put the hurt on Aspire because of the stuff Aspire was coming out with and they nailed it!
the aspire atlantis is a great product as well, kanger just knew that if they didnt step up their game they would lose a huge market share which they were starting to do

I'd like this...

Kayfun V4 clone

(not happy about the fake markings, but it's sorta nice for Cactus to be upfront with the manufacturer's and the markings)
(but love the design of the K4)

indeed the markings are ??? well. I know some manufacturers will hide or cover the markings if they clone something like that, even send them in a generic box. customs catches a lot of stuff like that.
I wouldnt hide stuff from my customers and as an ECF registered suppliers its part of the rules. they due a very thourough job of scrutinizing a vendors site, stock and background before approval. I've had less invasive lower GI checks

it boils down to where and what you want to do in the vape world. almost everyone wants flavor and some clouds and flavor, there are some devices that give both.
I think people that have quit smoking that move on in the vape world spend more on gear supply and juice/juice making than they did smoking but it also provides a hobby and recreation as well so it can be a trade off.

If you were to try building and it suited you I believe your clearos and spinner batteries would gather dust except for certain occasions.
if you stay with clearos/tank systems then a move to a subtank etc. will provide you a greater avenue for your vaping wants and needs my :2c:

note: some vape shops will let you try equipment as they do with juice, just depends on where you are located and what shops will do to gain customers. next time you go to a B&M ask them if they will let you try some stuff :)

I just don't see why vendors feel they need to hide things like that. Most clones are just as good and cheaper. That is one thing I am learning to like about cactus... Your upfront and honest. Not to mention coming on here and talking with us sharing your wisdom
Thanks me powerband.

Thank you Slowone2! I have tried very hard to be better. I dont have the revenue like a lot of other big name companies. I never started into this venture to get rich or to provide an income I would be starving if I had. I am a slow and small business and depend on word of mouth and repeat business to get by, not sure what the future of cactusesmokes looks like but thats a story to be had over on the other thread.

Yeah, I never thought to mention it when we were discussing rebuilding kits. As I was mentioning what I had in mine, I realized that I never use my round nosed pliers, and seldom use wire cutters. I just open that little case and use what is in there most of the time, because it's easy!

When I am at home, I do use larger spools of wire and use either the rayon Joan sent me, or cotton pads for wicking rather than the emergency little spools of wire and cotton balls that are in the kit, but I basically just grab the stuff in the kit to make the coils.

Anyway, it's an idea for anyone else who wants to make up a portable rebuilding kit, and has one of those ego cases!
