I can't believe how much better the tank market is than a year ago.

Yeah, the tanks now are so nice, and they just keep getting better!

have heard good things about both and the IPV2X, personally I have not used one

Is that going to be in stock soon Bruce? It looks like it might help hold me over until the one I want gets back in stock at your supplier's, and the price is right!

edit: what does 1 amp charger only mean? does it work with a standard cellphone charger?

edit again: I see the date now, you must have just put that on there???

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they are now putting the sizes on them. I think they are v2 or something.

That's a good thing even if it's too late for mine. They must have listened - the complaint about not being marked was in a lot of the reviews.

I think I definitely need one of those, I hate building coils, and it would be so nice to easily make a bunch up so I wouldn't have to do it every time. Screwdrivers are good but that sounds much better!

I tried screwdrivers, the tobeco jigs and another tool that that was the best of the 3 - is basically a shaft that steps down for each size. They worked but they were rough and strained my fingers. The coil master is easy and no strain - works best with a real light touch.

Could see my way clear to trying a Magma RDA

I like the idea that it's designed to be able to be used with a single coil (my preference) without modifications.

I have one of those and it's great - part of my daily line up.

You might have something there! I have kept all of my orignal kanger boxes.....yep more vape stuff I have taking up space!! But maybe I can do something productive with them. I have never thought of myself as a crafty diy kind of person, but desperate times call for martha stewart measures!!

One other thing I did in the past was to utilize a juice sampler tin that had several holes in the foam for an ego stand. In fact, I got that idea from someone here on the forum who discovered that it had the perfect size holes in the foam from the juice bottle samples and had used it this way and posted about it. You have me thinking that some of the other vape boxes might be able to be turned into mini stands as well. I'm going to have to snoop around my drawers that have all that stuff and see if something looks good. TY for the idea!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I put little round discs of cut out rubber mesh from from some old place matts and put them at the bottom of the shot glasses for some cushion. Plus they wash off easily.

I have three PT3 boxes. Since they are all the same size, and the inside slides out, I glued one on top of the other, and glued jewelry findings on the front like drawer knobs. I turned the plastic packaging window part upside down and put one in the bottom of each drawer to make them easier to clean, then covered the outside with scrapbook paper.

It makes a really cute little set of drawers.

The one I bought was silicon, but a bit rough, like chewing an old piece of rubber....:(

You did get me to thinking.....(very dangerous...)
I have some 5-minute food grade epoxy silicon in my toolbox. It's normally used to make forms for chocolates and candy.

I tried some around a plastic soda straw with a 3 mL bottle (top and bottom cut off) for the outside diameter, and some epoxy extended to form a pressure fit tip. It hardened fine but the pressure fit was an epic fail, pops right out of my tank.

Trimmed it off with a knife so it was the right length and slipped it over an old standard drip tip, it works and is surprisingly comfortable, but a little deformed by the contour of the derlin tip. Going to have to try it again with it form fitted to the derlin.....updates to follow...:2cool:

You sure are creative. All you have to do is make the right one.....you could patent that sucker and make a fortune on itty bitty drip tips. People really want a similar sensation to smoking especially in the beginning and that was/is still my biggest difference. I love the flavors, no smell....all the great parts of vaping if I could just find the perfect softer drip tip. Keep working on it and I will be your first customer...lol. Thanks

I have probably tried every tank in the market the last 18 months. Last year I switched over to RBA's only because I was tired of crappy coils that didn't last. I am really not into tinkering, and even though I can build coils it's a PITA. The Subtank is the first tank with pre-built coil that comes anywhere near the performance of an RBA. I use light colored clean eLiquids, and these coils are lasting me WEEKS! Unbelievable. I haven't even bothered trying to build a coil for the RBA deck, and all my RBA's have been moved to the back of the cabinet. The Subtank mini is perfect for little mods like the iStick and Beyang.

I can't believe how long these Kanger OCC coils last either! I've been using "cleaner" juices in mine, too and they seem to last forever!

My problem is that I try and keep my usable stuff (the boxes of juices, my batteries/chargers, and my building gear notwithstanding) inside a little drawer that only slides out about half way, so the drawer thing wouldn't work too well. Sounds fun, though.

I forgot to mention that I took another Kanger box sleeve and, instead of partitioning it into four compartments, instead divided it into two narrow rows with a thin piece of card stock. The rows are the perfect size for keeping a row of ego-threaded tanks (evods, PT/Aero minis, etc.) and/or a row of ego batteries, iTaste v3s, etc. I don't know how it would do with spinners that are wider than standard ego batteries (since I don't have any) or with some of the larger ego-threaded tanks like the T3S (mine all succumbed to tank-crackers), but there might be enough give to accommodate them.

I have to agree the Smok ARO V2 is one awesome glass clearo/tank. I have both the V1 and 2, the difference is size of the tank.... Uses kanger and smok coils and gives great flavor.

I am happy to find another ARO tank lover! I love the ARO line! They give the best taste out of everything I have tried. Plus the coils last a really long time, and are easy to rebuild.

My favorite pg/vg ratio is anywhere from 60/40, 50/50, and 37/63 :)

So the stepped one is better than the coil Jig? Yeah, I do keep hearing good things about the Coil Master, it's good that they listened about labeling it!

I have an Aspire Mini Vivi Nova. I bought it because it takes the same coils as my Anyvape Davide. I like them both, but if I were forced to choose... Anyvape Davide hands down!

I've not tried any of the Smok tanks, but I have an EVOD2 and a T3'D.

Right now, though, I'm going through a phase. I won that Kanger Subtank Mini and bought a Rocket RTA and I wanna build!

I am a huge fan of Smoktech stuff! The ARO bottom coil tank:
eb2d9e0f90e665ff6b67ce28564de188.jpg
is what I am using right now :) I love these! I have not had a leaking issue with them, and I love the taste I get from them. I have been using these since I think Feb. 2014.
Another good one is the smoktech FBC bottom coil tank.
b016fcd7abfdd3b813232a700118a608.jpg

It is like the ARO tank, except you can change the driptip on it, amd it has a neat little pen cap you can screw 8n the top of it! I personally think it is a little better than the ARO tank :)
I really like the Evod2 tank too.
The Vision vivi nova tank mini tanks were my first great tank I used after switching from my first ever tank the CE4s, and I loved the mini vivi tanks so much! When I found the ARO bottom coil tanks I fell in love with bottom coil tanks :)

I love hazelnut too! have not found anyone else that likes them. I dont like the "nutty" hazelnut flavor. Capelas makes a really nice hazelnut flavoring
Hazelnut lovers are few and far between [emoji12] Hazelnut is what I vape everyday all day. I started to diy so that I could make my perfect hazelnut, and since I vaped it so much it made it much cheaper for me. Cap. hazelnut version 2 flavoring is also very good. I invented the best hazelnut for my taste ever a while back! If you are interested I can pm you the flavorings (2) that i used and the recipe so you can try it :) I am obsessed with hazelnut! Lol

Sweet!. sorry to hear you lost your friend. I lost mine back in September
He was the best. I am so sorry you lost your friend as well.... :( It sucks when pets pass away, because they become a part of the family and it is hard when you lose them. My bf got me a puppy a few weeks before I lost Ram, and I swear if I did not have the puppy it would have been even harder. My puppy (around 3months old now) also licks the air at my vape clouds too! Lol

This made me laugh, sounds like you had a wonderful and funny friend. Sorry you lost him, I lost my big furry friend last year as well.

They sure can be funny and I can picture your Ram licking at the vapor clouds! They probably tasted, um confusing to him!

My dog loved food too, but don't they all!! He would get confused when anyone sat at the kitchen table playing cards because he was sure we were all eating. We would have to show him our empty hands before he stopped. Only to start in on us again 15 minutes later! For some reason he never seemed interested in my vaping. Maybe because he was used to seeing the smoking and it looked similar? Anyways, thanks for that story :)
Awwww! Your buddy sounded alot like mine! That is funny, I can picture him watching in disbelief! Mine never believed either. Lol I am sorry you lost your furry friend too :( He sounded very special :)

Is everyone's favorite tank one of the sub ohm tanks? My best tank right now is the nautilas and before that I used a pro tank 2. The nautilus is much better than the pro tank 2 but I no sooner got the nautilas and all the sub ohm tanks came out. Right now I don't have a battery to power a sub ohm tank but I would like to get both. Can someone explain why it is the best tank? Is it because you can blow bigger clouds or is it because it is a warmer vape? Maybe it is just a much better flavor.? I wish you could try them before you buy them but you can't so I figured I would ask experienced vapors why they like them so much. I know I won't be building coils and I don't care what size my clouds are...I just like a good flavor to come through and a nice throat hit.....are these tanks for me, ? if not what do you recommend? Thanks so much because I really don't want to smoke cigarettes and don't mind spending the money for something that is good.

ADD:
Uncle, not sure on how long it is good. That probably varies depending on pg/vg ratio, natural or artificial flavors, if been opened, how it has been stored. I know that most flavorings that are labeled with a date generally say use within a year but have heard of people vaping 2 yr old stuff...

Heating will destroy the nicotine so depending on how much, heat it and dump down the sink or just leave out in the sun several days and dump... it will dilute even if you just dump down the sink as it is.

I think most companies say 6 months but in a dark place or frozen it could probably be doubled. I was told by some juice mfg'rs that nicotine will stay good almost forever if frozen

THANKS ! ! ! All the "E-liquid I have has been kept in a Cool Dark place (not frozen - no room in freezer for anything but food ;) ) - That's why I forgot about some of it . . .

Some are dated - others not, so any not dated, over 2 Years or older - "Heat" & "Dump" is in it's future . . . :(

It has been suggested to me to try the rayon being as I can't do the cotton, where can I find it in much smaller amounts?

For "NancyR" and "Everyone" Else - FYI: Cellu Cotton is readily available at most Beauty Supplier Stores and is quite reasonable depending in the amount "You" want since it comes in a variety of different packaging . . . (Like Sally's: Graham CelluCotton Cotton Coil PRICES FROM: $1.99 - $11.49) . . . AND - Even less expensive if "You" have a Friend in the business . . . :D Or - The next time "You" go to your local Beauty Salon for service - since they usually have a very large box around - Just ask if they might give/sell ya' a small amount too . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Your brooms are really beautiful. I also love how you used those nice colors on them!

If "You" think those are really beautiful - Ya' should see some of "Shawn's" other Artwork too . . .

I have no "this is the one" tank or clearo. I have those I love but use many of them for different reasons.
Clearo type The ARO has to be the one, the Aerotank for my fav Tobacco flavor due to how it tastes in it and the Naut, for a sweet juice that mellows out in it for another.
The sub ohm ones are good for full flavor and vapor and of course my different drippers depending on the build, well size or just want to drip.
So really I love alot of my toppers for different reasons....

Ok, the above made no rhythm or reason at all.

Drat.....
