Now that I have a collection of sorts, I find I am looking at stands. However, I have thus far been disappointed in the offerings. Most look like a block of pine that's been drilled a dozen times and stained. Then there are the exotics that look like someone took an expensive block of wood and drilled a dozen times and lacquered.

Regardless of the material used, I find that the perception is that everyone totes tube mods, eGos, and nary a box mod in sight. Oh, yeah, and you have to have 6 eGos and 6 tube mods to make it look right.

I've found two or three exceptions.

510 Ohm Meter Vape Station V2 Included Ohm Meter Black Blue | eBay

https://www.etsy.com/listing/221527848/handmade-vape-stand-79-holes-and-a-huge

And perhaps the least purtified, but most realistic:

Vape Stands - WallyPlastics

IMO I think the wooden drawer one is the best, not liking the 3D printed plastic stuff much. I think they have a ways to go yet to refine the operation

I can't believe how much better the tank market is than a year ago.

I haven't been posting a lot as entries. That's because I have won quite a lot in the last 60 days. It's also because I've been at a show peddling my wares and have had precious little time...

And then I see something shiny... and I look at my collection and realize it's not quite where I want it yet...

So, on with another entry.

I bought (gasp) a Kamry K100 and a Rocket RTA (a Kayfun pseudo-clone) two days ago. I won't go so far as to call it my favorite topper, or my favorite mod... it's a bit ugly in that the tank overhangs the mod (anyone know where I can find an OEM gold anodized drip/beauty sleeve and a 510 xl carto? My mod did not come as the complete kit.) The airflow on the tank is a bit lacking. The coil I built (in my hotel room after purchasing the tank with no tools aside from the magic blue screwdriver and my pocket knife) heats a little slow. But, even though I have other choices, I keep reaching for that setup. It's growing me...

Nice looking brooms, I bet you get alot of the wiccan trade. Ya know witches and such. Plus those corn type brooms are the best ever made. In fact you know how hard it is to find a good corn brush broom. those cheap plastic ones blow.....

Like your new set up, I hear Kamry K100, is a little tank and hit great and lasts forever.....

Yes, EHPros is making quality (just referenced them in my last post) and I am copying this tank down for future inspection. Two things that I want in a new tank are the orchid style deck and the 26650 size and this looks just right - plus it is EHpro and it looks sweet! I still don't have any 26650s but I've read that people have them on their box mods, so that is what I'd like one for.

Again, this thread is so good! Potentially expensive, but worth it lol

It sounds like the evil eye is exactly what you're looking for then. The deck is almost identical to the orchid, especially the orchid v6 deck with the raised air tubes, and it is a 26650 sized attie, another benefit is glass tanks. Now that i've got a build on it and have vaped with it quite a bit,i can say it is a great attie and i will definitely be getting another if i can find someone selling them(Hint haha).I got the silver this time, but plan to get a black one next.I have it on my seven30 mod now,but i did have it on my box mod last night, and it looks great on both.

and see I liked the plastic ones as they are fun, and you can get what you need for what you have and just grow the system

that doesnt sound right, as you are his wife they should at least give you some information

it all falls under the new Obamacare crude and private info. You have to be there so they know you are who you say and then of course have 4 types of ID and maybe then, they will tell you something not important, but only after the tons of paperwork that has to be done before they really do anything..... Don't ever have a stroke and can not speak or do paperwork.

try to get a sitter for your friend and get down there and bully your way in to see him....

Prays and well wishes going your way....

What I find I need more each day

RDA Terminal Screws

But will one of them fit the screws that are loose in my head????? :p

also, I got a bag of washers or o-rings yet out of the bunch not a single kayfun fill screw one. even the smallest is too big, what about that, sheesh....:?:

I believe I have some that will fit the kayfun fill screw... thinking they are the 3mm size, I would have to double check to be sure

And if you try one, you definitely won't be sorry, the Magma is awesome!

I agree, the magma is a great rda.I have bought several other drippers over the last year trying to find one i liked, the patriot, helios, and some others i can't even remember haha, but never really liked any of them,so they sit collecting dust.I was leary of getting any more, but seen so many good reviews on the magma, that i figured for the $20 price of a clone i would try it,and i love that little thing haha.I still don't use it all the time,as i'm not big on dripping, but it gets a workout when trying new flavors, then i'll use it for quite a while, you know, gotta be sure that juice is good,so gotta keep testing it haha.

I am thinking of playing with Custard... no diacetyl... Mixing the Cap v2 with some of Killer Juice's Custard that is really not sweet but heavy and eggy... it is also dark brown in color from the vanilla but think the toasted marshmallow might work or perhaps maple... just know that brown sugar, caramel and the like aren't what I am looking for. My gramma used to make us egg custard, she would unmold it onto a plate and top with maple syrup... was always a favorite and a good way to use a lot of eggs. When you have chickens, you look for ways to use them. Neighbors only want so many it seems.

02/22/2015 Entry #1 . . .

As the :rules: state first post NEEDS to be . . .

Something I would like - or want to see - in the CactusEsmokes Mechanicals & More store:

14219476894352011056668.jpeg

really a great mod, not sure why it doesnt get more play in the box mod world. its smaller that the IPV2 or 3 and has what many people like about the sigelei over the IPV 1,2 or 3... the larger buttons. IPV also brought back the touch fire feature that is on the top of the mod

With more than 4456754234586543 (I know. I counted. You're welcome to count, too, if you think I'm wrong.) flavors and variations to try - and more coming, I'm sure - I don't know if I'll ever find a favorite. I have found one juice vendor that I like (and that my finicky stepdot likes, too) and we do order a couple hundred ml per month from them. I had some 100 or so ml of convenience store juice, but being opposed to waste (and being self-unemployed), I chose the muscle it past the gag reflex and use it. Now down to about 40 ml, and never gonna buy that again.

I am a fan of what I consider to be earthier flavors - coffees and nuts. Not real huge on fruity flavors. Wondering why there isn't a boiled cabbage or broccoli flavor...

You and I are a match! Or at least cut from the same forgetful cloth!

When I ordered my first vamo I needed to get a charger and batteries. The charger arrived first and when the vamo and batteries arrived I could not find the dang charger anywhere. I turned over the whole house looking for the thing and after an exasperating several hours I threw in the towel. I thought someone had broken in to the house and stolen it!! Nothing else, just my new 4 bay charger LOL! Now I couldn't even use my new mod and so I had to order another one and wait. Cut to the end. About 2 months later I was putting groceries in my trunk and moved an old jacket out of the way to make some room...yeah, there it was!! I realized that I had opened the box that the charger came in while I was in the garage because I got the mail as I was on my way out to a doctor appointment, so I must have put it in the trunk. Not sure how it got under the jacket?!?!?!:facepalm::facepalm::laugh::laugh::laugh:

5. You always remember the first time! As I reach the drive-up to place an order at Steak n Shake, I put my ecig (one of those look a like jobs) down in this indent in the passenger seat. I’ve done this more than a few times so I do this without looking. No one is ahead of me so I head to the pickup window. Gal takes my money and I head home. On the way, I reached over and used the feel method in my attempt to find my ecig. Here I am driving the car, leaning over and twisting this way and that way while feeling up the poor passenger seat. Thing is no where to be found. I had a back up ecig (exact ecig as the one I couldn’t find), so, again, I stick my hand in the purse and pull it out. I’m happy but wondering where the other one went.
I get home, take the food in and eat. Then I head out for the great search. The thing is no where to be found!!! Next day, I get another back up ready. As I go to put it in my purse, guess what I find.

I find that the size holes are never small enough for the egos or 808s are too loose. Plus why all the places for drip tips??? or juice, sheesh....

But your right most look like I could make one out of scrap wood and the rtight size drill bits.

I've wondered about the distribution of space-types on stands as well. I've always thought the most popular type should be for toppers--but not with threaded 510-type connections. Instead, have a 18.5, 22, or 23 mm circular space, with a smaller, roughly 10 mm circular space at the bottom to protect the connector. This way, you save the wear-and-tear on your threads, protect the connector, and can store or remove a tank with no fuss at all.

I will look into those as well as the Derringer after the CNY rush is over, thats the one bad thing about China is the national holidays when everything is closed :laugh:
