2/23 #2 will try not to get them all confused and mixed up like I did yesterday

Glad you were able to talk to him Nancy!! Any idea yet what's wrong?

ETA: Not trying to pry......just want to make sure you have some info and definitely hope it's not terribly serious.

The only thing they can really tell me right now is that it was a seizure, and that when they were getting ready to release him yesterday he had another so they kept him. They are doing an MRI today so hopefully that will tell us more, one nurse did give me the worst case bit yesterday but I am really trying to keep my mind off that.

I have kept a couple of my plastic tanks for times when I really don't want to worry about breaking. But I don't have too many left between piffing after I got my protanks and cracking from my early days. The first one that really got me was a juice that I kept hearing about called pluid. I had to try it and I had no idea how destructive this stuff was. Until I felt and saw the neon green running down my hand and up my sleeve as it came right out of my tank

I've cracked tanks from juice too. It was the old clearos I had when I first started vaping that cracked. Now I buy glass whenever possibe, and save the plastic for the "safe" juices. I've also gotten juice from two ECF companies, where the juice had actually eaten through the bottles before they even got to me. I sure hope those two companies changed their bottles.

Yes, Murdock uses anise oil and that is a very very major tank cracker

Why not select one more tank that I see so many good posts about!

Stosh... they make several nice glass tanks that are pretty much covered (protected) like the Squape or as slowtech calls them... triangle windows. I haven't broken a glass tank yet but am sure the day will come. Many I have also come with a stainless tank. Don't much care for stainless as makes them really heavy and can't see yer joose! They will keep you going until a replacement glass tank arrives though.

Not only does hubby kill batteries, although he has been better about that lately, but used the little Evod tanks and tends to pop the plastic windows out of them by cranking them on tight enough that I can't get the bottom off to clean them.

Iota... the absinthe/horehound I mentioned earlier is a clone of pluid of sorts. I guess. Never had the real stuff but this one will certainly clean your sinuses.

Okay, so I've been wondering about my batteries (18650) and how long I should keep them. When do you consider them dead, or at least not safe to use anymore?

I've had a few since summer and they still seem to work fine. I know from seeing my mvp start to decline and not keep a charge as long that I will see that happen with my individual batteries too. Is there a rule of thumb for these things?

I'm one of those who uses things until they are completely worn out. I guess because for us, it's a necessity. I still vape all of those bad gas station juices until they are gone, and I keep all the parts from my old egos and things in case I can use them later to fix something else.

Maybe that's why I have so little room in my tiny house!
I have the same problem with computer equipment, too.

It's not hoarding, I say! I can still walk around.... between.... through....

Even though it seems like my vape collection is a mess and still growing it really isn't bad when you look at the other stuff, like you guys have said. My biggest thing is old furniture. I can't seem to part with anything and now as I've gotten older, we've moved into smaller and smaller houses, but the furniture is hard to part with. I've goodwilled a bunch but kept a lot too. It doesn't take much extra furniture or things that are too big for the space to overwhelm a room. One good thing is that I have lots of drawers to keep vape stuff in. I have forgotten stuff in drawers that I will find next year!

I expect you will be able to tell by the battery life. Some of mine seem to not be holding a charge as long as they used to, and I think it's time to start replacing them.

I think as long as they aren't bulging or leaking, and as long as the outer wrapper is intact, that they should be safe as long as you don't discharge them below safe levels.

Me too. I really should get rid of the computer from 1998 though, I don't think there is very much state of the art equipment left in there to reuse!
