I just love these. I would love to have a pink one. I used to not be a fan of pink, but now I love it.

Those are nice, but the newer MVP 3's are much better, and so are the iSticks. The MVP 2.0's are getting old school, and the newer versions give you a lot more options, as well as they have changed some of the things about them that people wanted to change.

they pretty much are on clearance now
looking back at my invoices that is right at cost

I was thinking it must be, because I've never seen them for sale for that price anywhere else! (The istick 20W).

It must be pretty awful for vendors, that no sooner would you get them, then they would release another more powerful one before you even had time to list it.

I felt much the same way when I joined ECF. I was a noob (comparitively, still am) and I wanted a reliable, inexpensive all day vape. I got recommendations for everything but. I ended up with an istick 20 (should have waited for the 30) and a couple Anyvape Davide BDC Glassomizers. They've been outstanding. However, I can't recall anyone suggesting these items at the time. I would have left had I not found "family" here and in another thread.

Thanks Shawn. I did go back and find that thread and recommend the istick 50w after reading your comment here. hope we helped a new vaper stick with it.

At one time I was dieing to get the mvp 2.0 or shine, and I finally got the mvp 2.0 last month as a surprise from my bf :) . So, I have not wanted the shine like I used to, and I found out that it is pretty much the mvp except it is prettied up so I do not need 2 of them :) I got a pink sleeve for my mvp so it is prettied up now! :) I think the istick is probably a great mod :)

I still don't know how to make a coil. I need a coil master. lol
I made a video (something I have never done :) ) , and in my video I made a coil to show you how I do it. It was only a minute or so long, but I cannot get the forum or the app to let me post it :(

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to post a video? I am using my tablet.

I never saw the need for anything over maybe 50 watts IMHO. I mean, sure the youngsters love the clouds I guess, but really, how many juices can handle that much wattage. Taking my Vamo or Spinners, the taste gets burnt going into the higher ranges. maybe it's me but if i had a 100+ device, I may try it to see how high I could go, but for steady vaping, I can't see more than mid range maybe.(10 to 30ish) So a 50 would cover all my bases and really a 30 that goes low enough in wattage would work as well.

Nothing wrong with those that can do high wattage, i just can't see me doing it more than just to try it.....

Like Bruce and his drill bit, sometimes you just can't teach an old dog new tricks..... Some yes, but not all....

I agree, for those that feel they need that high wattage,go for it,but personally i couldn't do it.I did think about about getting a 100 watt box here a few weeks back, but after getting my ipv mini and a cloupor mini that both max out at 30 watts,i realized i will never need anywhere near 100.I tried these at 30 just to see what that was like, and didn't like it,i've been sticking around 10-15 watts, with the very occasional 20 at the most,so anything over 30 would really just be a waste for me.

The iStick is a great little mod. I've only got the 20, and was wishing I had the 30 or 50, but since I started building coils, I'm basically ok with what I've got.

And another copper mod with matching copper dripper on the way.

Funny vaping story?

I convinced myself to stop smoking and take up vaping, in part, because it was cheaper.

Now, THAT'S funny!

Not photographed are the 6 additional ego setups I've given my stepson or the 4 cigalike kits I've purchased for my stepdot.

And now you have me fixating on the maraxus! LOL  Are these newer mech mods? I've never seen them, but then again I really don't shop much in the mech sections of the websites. This thread is exposing me to lots of new stuff. TY for your thoughts on the hand feel. I am big on that because I keep my mod in my hand for long stretches of time.

Big LOL on the stealth vape! This is a "flashy" vape!

I don't think the Kryptonite has been around for all that long, but the Maraxus has been around for at least a year. I like my Maraxus a lot, but the Kryptonite is much nicer. It is more comfortable to hold, and I think it's much easier to fire.

Ok on page 117, so I remember where I left off after I post this one...

On the smaller but not alot of wattage, I think I could use this one....

Sigelei Mini 30 Watt

The main use would be for my Naut, Aerotanks and Trophies. Low enough to fire them all yet powerful enough to deal with the newer sub ohm tanks.... My mods and spinners do a good job, but I just can't think that having more control on the wattage wouldn't improve them....

I will let you know Bruce.....

Big plus is the price.

I'm already decided! I'm getting that and a few other things!

I also got Mr. Owl and he is the cutest thing I have ever seen....he sure looks good on my Snowflake modbox...(I added a plastic piece on top by the connector so the RBA won't scratch the paint off)....I hope my eyes will clear up enough today to build him and give him a try by tonight.....I love how he watches me...
PICT0084.JPG

(In case you didn't know he's a power animal for me)...

He looks very nice on your mod, and I expect he is very happy on there, because it has all those sparkly rhinestones on it!

Ok, I'm still 3 pages behind......but the coil jig is this one........ Amazon.com: Artistic Wire Coiling Gizmo(R) Deluxe Winder for Jewelry Making

it is designed for making jewelry coils. Someone may have already posted this in the next 3 pages. so if so........here it is again lol
Thanks for the link. I might have to tag along with my wife the next time she goes to Michael's (which never happens--I used to avoid that place like the plague!).

I find it amusing that almost all of the "helpful" comments are about coil-building for vapes....

I think my biggest complaint about the iStick 50w is that, having spent a year with my MVP, I keep trying to fire the device with my thumb joint against the side. LOL. Good thing they included a lock feature.... I got a horrible burnt hit before I started using it because I had accidentally turned the wattage up to 26 from the 8.5 I had been using...

AND - To be honest, just as bad if not worse for the consumer too . . . ;)

WARNING - Rant Approaching . . .

After 3 years - IMO - that no matter what "You" purchase it is a "game of chance" and that YOU ARE actually going to be the guinea pig testing a product when it first hits the market - especially when it comes to "eCig's" . . . Matter of fact, I have bought a few items that everyone was so excited out about and exclaiming that the new product was - So GREAT ! ! ! THIS WAS THE ONE ! ! ! SO IMPROVED AND BETTER THEN EVER BEFORE ! ! ! Only to find out that the item was in reality placed on the market as actually an absurd farce that was being played on the consumer, especially since the manufacture was already set to put a NEW IMPROVED EVEN BETTER PRODUCT on the market within a few weeks . . . WORSE THING IS - "We" (or at least most of "Us") are to blame for this happening given that "We" are willing to accept it and continue to purchase "Stuff" that has not been proven to be a quality product - Just Something That Is "Disposable" . . .
I GET SO :censored: :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

Okay - I think that's enough . . . Rant Over . . .

Stepping Down Off "My" Soap Box and Walking Away . . .

Post it on YouTube and then link to it from here (or embed the video with the little flimstrip button on the ECF format bar.

I agree. I can't even remember how high my E-Mech goes, because I've never been above 25 watts on it, and then I dialed it back lower. (I was trying to taste the lime in my new juice, so I tried a bunch of wattages, but still couldn't taste anything but Sprite).

I think it goes to 30, but I'm not sure, and I don't really care.

I am getting a much better vape by being able to vape above what I could on my MVP, the MVP only went to 11, and I do find quite a few juices I like at between 15 and 18.5 watts, but above that, and it just uses batteries too fast and some juices taste burnt.

Are you serious? You Macguyvered the jig out of mailbox parts and a fly swatter? That is outstanding Slowone2!!! You are making me look pretty wimpy for feeling like this is probably a project that is above my ability. Maybe I will rethink this and check out the video again. See if I can't surprise myself.

I thought that was pretty amazing too! Who cares what it looks like if it works great and didn't cost anything!

It reminds me of the rise of computers (and, to a lesser degree, cell phones). You'd buy the latest greatest chip or video card or hard drive, etc., and something better was already in the pipeline.... for the same price (or better). I learned early on to never buy higher than the second or third tier, as these parts were half the price (or less) than the top-end and, depending on the length of your upgrade cycle, the performance was still approximately double what it was before. Things have slowed down considerably since then (I'm talking early-mid 90's). The problem with vaping is that there is no measurable definition of performance, which leads people to fall for things like power output. 100 must be better than 50, right?

BTW: Did you read the credits for your animation? It says the author will hunt you down and "get" you if you post it anywhere... I wonder what you might "get?"

You are doing an incredible job on this thread. Honestly one of the best threads for learning and getting to know the other ECF'ers that I've participated in.

I love all the feedback, suggestions and general participation from you and Kathi. I felt like I was getting behind in my work yesterday trying to keep up and read all of the posts, so today I came in a bit later :) I can't imagine how you both are doing it! Don't forget to eat and sleep please!

Thanks, it's really fun! I can't believe tomorrow is the last day, because I don't want it to end! I've loved seeing old friends, and meeting and getting to know new ones so much!
