Its kind of disheartening to always watch videos and see people talking so personally about electronic cigarettes and all their benefits just to find out it is someone who is selling them.

You got a lot of people on here and on youtube who have a monetary interest in these devices who are acting like your friend giving you information. I think thats just as bad as what the FDA is doing. I dont like either side of the coin to be honest with you. Two groups with THEIR own interests in mind and not yours.

As you know there is NO regulation on E-cigs so Buyer Beware BIGTIME ! , there are unscrupulous sellers in all markets ( Hell ask Wall Street !! )

I think that dealers/sellers should ALWAYS DISCLOSE their affiliation . BUT this is not enforced by this board ( as far as I know or have seen !) and it is not self enforced so ?????

Funny; I've seen just the opposite, for the most part. People who are vendors must have labels under their avatars. They aren't allowed to post in the New Members section, or advertise in the other threads. Posts are deleted or moved all the time because they break some rule or another.

If you feel like someone has deceived you, just call them out on it and get it straightened out.

This is incorrect. The bulk of Admin/the mods' responsibilities around here is ascertaining that no suppliers advertise here without properly identifying themselves and being approved first.....and that includes affiliates, reps, etc.

You obviously wouldn't know this but we have several suppliers joining every day without notifying us as such. As we catch them, they are automtically banned until they identify themselves and begin the approval process.

And when a member makes a video here, if their device was given to them as a beta of sorts, they are expected to mention that at the beginning of the video so the members are aware there could be some bias. Afterall, we all realize it isn't easy to get a product for free then come on here and say 'this thing stinks'....even if it were true.

So, as far as ECF is concerned, we do try to ensure that anyone with vested interests here is brought out into the open right away. And if members happen to catch them before we do, we hope they report it to us so we can take proper action.

I gotta say I almost don't mind, if someone gave me a massive amount of information on an Ecig, and then said "here, now you can buy one" I would, as long as I am assured by other members on here that its a good product, thats why I got a Chuck! lol

Yep. I don't think there's any 'moral equivalency' here. You win hands down over 'banning ecigs or ejuice or taxing the he!! out of them' vs. some biased view that might cost you $35 on something that may very likely stop you from smoking. Lol.

All i mean is that the middle of the road would be a great place. Some tell you how healthy and safe the things, are, the others want to scare you away from it till they have a vested interest in the product. Its cool to find the unbiased people who look at it from a better point of view is all I am saying. this was not a complaint against this forum, please dont take it like that. I was talking about specific people who I have found out had affiliations that were kind of hidden is all.
