I had a thought last night (this morning) as I drifted off to sleep watching UFC... I was looking at my VAMO with my ProTank perched atop it and thought to myself ...I could use one more of these... then I had a vision of two VAMO's, two Protanks, two AGA-T2's, two Naturals and lastly two IGO-L's and I drifted off to sleep. I think that's all I would needs... a nice, even looking vape addiction.

I have been vaping on this ProTank all day and night long... flavor has stayed perfect, no gurgling as of yet, no leaks, no bad anything!!! Man I am really liking this tank!!!

I would like to see the tank longer instead of wider. Already wide enough for me, if I'm gonna lug a tank this wide it better hold 3.5 ml, besides when they get low they will likely leak, more capacity longer vape time between having to top off.

Rebuilt one of the heads on mine with a 1.5ohm coil and cotton wick. Much better flavor, can actually taste my liquid now. Still not as good as a REO with an RBA but probably 75% and a heck of a lot cheaper. Flavor on this liquid, Unicorn Blood, comparable with a U-DCT tank but the added bonus of pyrex. Still bummed about the crappy chrome job that was all flaked off around the mouthpiece out of the box but at least it is salvageable via rebuilt coils even if you get a bad one like mine.

Got the same setup, since the ProTank arrived today. Looks nice, but I get the rattlesnake with the Vamo. Oddly, I don't get it on any of my eGo batteries.

Looks good on the EA as well. Oh and a tip for you guys. The box it comes in, you can take the Styrofoam out of it and use it to store stuff. I use it for extra heads

I'm not exactly thrilled with the average life expectancy of the atomizer heads, so far, at least compared against my vivi nova. They seem to last about half as long (based on the two that came with it, I'm currently working on the first one out of a box of 5 I purchased from MyVaporStore alongside the protank).

First one died in, I want to say, 3-4 days, and then the second one died after the next 4 days (by "died", I don't mean "burned out" so much as "stopped producing acceptable amounts of vapor, started darkening the fluid too much to wick properly"). This is on a Provari, typically running the Protank at 4.4V through 2.6ohms, or about 7.5W.

What life have the rest of you been getting from your atomizer heads?

As far as the integrated driptip is concerned- I'm not sure on that yet, myself. On the one hand, I don't really want to be exposed to brass (I play a brass instrument and have always sent mouthpieces off to be refinished when the brass poked through), but on the other hand, my favorite single feature of this tank is that it's fluid-tight when in its inverted position, allowing for the head to be changed out without finding somewhere to dump a full load of eliquid, either temporarily or permanently, to do so.

At least the heads are reasonably cheap, so that probably won't be a barrier to my continuing to use this device even if it *does* feel like they gunk up a bit too fast for my personal preference.

I myself just got the protank yesterday and had the evod few days. Remember the evod and protank are basically the same concept just different delivery. I just cleaned my evod cause the juice I was vaping the smell made my wife nautious so it was a good excuse to wash it and dry burn.

If you don't do dry burns on used coils performance and taste will definitely be "off."

Pull center piece off, take silica grommet off......look inside atomizer chamber and remove small wick strands sitting on top of the coiled wick.....screw back into base, screw base onto your device...lower voltage to 3.3 v or so and PULSE power on and off in short intervals.....till u see all coils glow bright orange......replace strands of tiny wick back on top of coiled wick....insert centerpiece again...slip plastic grommet back on...screw atty assembly back into protanks base.

No need to complain.....u need to avoid user error...not dry burning and complaining about performance is your own fault.

I had issues w/ the very first tank I received. It was just DOA. Finally put a diff coil unit on it and it fired right up. Another one today did not want to work, so I stuck it on the VAMO and just kept trying. And it finally fired. Hit and miss QC, I guess. Other than these 2 incidents, no other issues.
But I am a KISS vaper, and I LIKE these tanks WAYYYY better than any clearos. Enough that by end of next week I should have 12 tanks and 25 coil units. A bit of overkill maybe, but I like to change juices several times a day and I am still ordering and trying lots of new juices... which is easy to do if one has multiples of these tanks.
So, I do highly recommend the KPT to anyone who likes the ease and simplicity of clearos. Easy to fill, easy to use. And a great vape!

I just picked one up yesterday from my local B&M store. First tank was a strawberry lemonade type juice and flavor was ok and vapor was good. Not quite as airy as I thought it would be from the reviews. A little more than ideal for me but acceptable. Second tank was a dark black cavendish and it tasted like burnt plastic. Nasty, nasty. I drained that, cleaned it back up and loaded my favorite juice, Unicorn blood, burnt plastic taste is gone but flavor is weak compared to a REO bottom feeder and an ERA which is what I usually run that flavor on. Vapor is good tho. Will see if the flavor comes through as the wick breaks in.

Quality control is going to be a huge issue on these as mentioned before. My Protank has a rough edge on the top of the mouthpiece where the chrome plating is flaked off and the brass is exposed and almost jagged. Not good. I like the concept but I think you will have to be one of the lucky ones who gets a 'good one' to be really happy with it. I have a couple of buddies who bought one at the same time and they both love theirs. Me, not so much yet.

Did the flavor get better? I like all the ideas about the v2. I'm thinking about getting one but flavor is important. Did it get better?
