Oooooh, then of COURSE I'll donate. I'm leery of recurring stuff, but this forum has definitely helped me out to the tune of $24. Heck, I gave my sister $100 for ecig stuff just for getting me off the smokes.

I don't want to throw a monkey wrench into the stuation, but my paypal is showing it as a yearly recurring charge of $24.00. I'm not quite sure if that's accurate though, maybe someone in the know can chime in, please.
You can change the pay-pal to not do that...but then you could also have a lapse at your renewal if you don't notice your renewal notice.

Definitely a recurring charge. Like I said, I feel the $24 (at least once) is worth it, but really, recurring is the only option? Please be more honest - it's almost like the cheap ecig "deals" that we are trying to avoid. Saying later that we can change Paypal not to do that is is not the correct fix, IMHO.

Sounds reassuring, DC2. It definitely had it as recurring in Paypal, though. That's wicked hard to find too, when you have to read it in German, which is not my native language. (Apparently, it's also no longer possible to switch to the English page.)

I don't like recurring charges either, and I just renewed for the second time. I did need to go to PayPal and stop the auto pay from doing recurring charges, but that is a pain to do and others probably don't realize that by subscribing that they will be automatically charged, and renewed the following year. I think that it should be a one time charge and not recurring. I did get a E-mail from ECF about a week or so stating that my subscription was about to expire. If they made it one time only for a year, they could send a E-mail to let us know when it was expiring. I really like the ECF, I just don't like auto renewal on anything, unless I go out of my way to chose that option.
