Hi all. I'm really considering a reo as my next mod, but need a little help to make the decision.
Right now I'm using a Buzz Pro and a Foxy Box mod. No problems with either one and like them both. I guess I'm considering the reo for 4 reasons... all day battery and juice, indestructability, mechanical switch, and more juice flavor with an atty.
Here's my concern. I am a horrible dripper. I like that I can taste things in my juice that the carto experience doesn't allow, but I always (and I do mean always) get juice in my mouth. It tastes yucky, but also gives my horrible heartburn. I already have a problem with acid reflux which is kept in check with meds, but it doesn't do a thing for me when I get juice in my mouth. Needless to say, because of the heartburn issue, I haven't dripped enough to get good enough at it to keep me from getting heartburn in the first place.
How steep is the learning curve on the reo? Do you think i'll be able to get things down before I make myself sick or am I just meant to be a Reonaught rather than a Reonaut?
Thanks in advance.

If you struggle with dripping, you'd probably struggle with a bottom feeder. In a 510 atty, three drops is just right. On a bottom feeder, you have to master squonking and the technique changes a bit as the liquid in the bottle gets vaped away.

I'd say try a Reo but be prepared to endure the learning curve.

Glad you are considering the REO. I think you will be more than happy with your choice.

There is a learning curve so to speak. You will quickly learn that you don't have to push on the bottle very much to juice your atty. Atty's have there own learning curve. Some like more juice than others.

We are always around to help with questions and concerns. This thread may answer to some of your questions and concerns:

Glad to hear that you are considering an REO. I am usually pretty slow at getting things down when there is a huge learning curve. That said I had no problems at all when I switched to an REO. As far as juice in my mouth , this may have happened twice since I have had mine (a very short time), and I found that it was more about the atty than my device. When I purchased my REO I wanted something that gave me such an experience in vaping that I actually craved the experience, if you get what I mean. The REO has done just that for me! It is a souped up tactile pleasure and flavor pleasure all at the same time. I hope that you decide to join us.

If you're having problems with juice getting in your mouth, look into Trippy Tips donuts. It's a blown glass tip shaped like a donut, and that middle 'hole' intercepts juice splashing up from the coils. Kind of hard to visualize, but once you see one, you'll see how it works. Plus they're pretty snazzy looking.

That being said, all your reasons for looking at the REO are perfectly valid, and it will exceed your expectations!

I completely understand! I constantly flooded, dry hit, and splashed juice in my mouth before trying the LR 306 atty with a pyrex tip on my REO. A clear tip and the way the 306 is built allows you to see just a tiny film of juice on top of the atty. It's obvious when it's flooded or dry. The only time I got hot splatters from a 306 was when the atty needed to be cleaned.

As for REOs...there is no other mod for me. I really thought I would collect several different mods, but changed mind after my first REO.

REO's are for people that aren't to particularly excited about dripping. Also, it isn't as much of a hassle as well. Yet there is a little learning curve but, it isn't all to bad. I always recommend people do the blind squonk. Which is a bit easier for me at least and it's also good when your driving or doing something that requires a bit of focus.

The directions for the blind squonk is really simple and straight forward. All you have to do is lightly squeeze the bottle and do a dry hit (without hitting the button). When you hear a gurgle then stop and you can vape.

Some learn faster then others but, it doesn't take to long to figure out how to use a REO. If you have anymore questions then please ask.
