Ok, sounds like we have a winner. Pick it up Monday and let ya'll know what I think. Currently use Tron/Ego One with rebuildable single coils but the insulators rip over time. For a little more then buying another 5 pack I can buy this and probably sell my Tron. Never used duel coil so the option is nice.

Before it gets here I notice a few reviews say the chimney comes out when unscrewing the top fill? User error and just make sure I hold the small lip above the tank? Also leaking user error? Should wick be just on the lip with bottom of wick running down half way or the whole wick running half way with the bottom running to almost touch the bottom?

I trim my wicks and run them all the way to the bottom. They should be light in the channels and not packed in. It takes some trial and error and your pg/vg ratio could make a difference. More wick for higher pg, less for high vg.

Here's a pic, the cotton looks packed but it's just saturated and fluffy...

When filling, I shut the airflow off, fill then when putting the top cap back on I screw it down until I just feel the silicone gasket touch, flip it upside-down as I finish seating the top cap. Let the air go all the way to the deck, open the airflow and flip back over. If I've wicked it right no leaks on refill and no dry hits.

That's like half way full wick with the tail ends to the bottom and fluffed? What PG/VG is that? I scottish roll my wicks so its very fluffy as well, taste is night and day difference over just using cotton sheets as-is. Looks like twisted420's method, tail ends just hovering on the bottom.

It's DIY creme de Menthe 90 vg/10 pg. I'm running dual 8 wrap, 26 gauge kanthal, 2 mm at .35 ohms and 30 watts.

The Bellus is a good tank, not my favorite but good. It's worth it if you're getting a deal.

As MMW would say I'm a RTA .......

Yeah I'd say so lol, I just have one Tron ego one style with just rebuilding coils like the original EVOD's.. pop bottom off put in coil and pop bottom pin back in. It's $24.99 CDN $17.50 USD so hard to pass up even for a cheapo like me who hates spending money lol.

If the top cap is really tight, and you're not paying attention, you can unscrew the chimney with it. I guess they wanted to keep the smooth flow of the tank so there's no knurling on the cap, which might have made it easier to grab.

As for filling, I just close the airflow, unscrew the cap, fill, replace the cap, open the airflow an vape. No issues with leaking with that method. Howver, with my Boreas i have to follow the method Btsmokincat described to fill. I guess it's just whatever works for you, but my experience with the Bellus has been positive. The only time I had really bad leaking with the tank was on my first single coil build. Couldn't figure out what the problem was as it kept dumping on me. Resolved the issue when I finally remembered to put the single coil adapter plug in.

LOL, Yeah I read a few quick puffs right after burns up the 2 drops that always leak out. I'll try a few ways or both. Leaning while filling was another suggestion. From all but one review I hear the Crius, Aromamizer and Griffin are better for obvious reasons but Bellus has the best flavour with Crius close 2nd.

One last question lol. Notice you have the coils lifted up quite high. Others say if you can see it through the AFC it tastes best but they also get condensation from it. Have you tried building closer to the deck and this fixed that problem?
