The Bellus does have fantastic flavour. I've had mine for quite some time but haven't managed to get the wicking perfect yet (I use several other atties so the Bellus hasn't received all the attention it should). More cotton than I would normally use seems to go a long way though.

As soon as I got my Griffin, the Bellus went on the shelf. I've played with the Bellus several times over the last 1.5 weeks, and decided I was going to get it working last night. After a couple of hours, I finally got the coils and wicking right. I'm going to enjoy it while these coils last. I have a Theorem on the way, but no one knows when that will be sent out. I'm going to get another Griffin: it's easy to build on, wicking is easy, and the taste is fantastic.

Rebuilt one of my SS Bellus tanks today and not a single leak after initial filling. I made certain to snug down the top cap more than I used to, and have probably gotten better at the wicking and the AFC remained dry as a bone :)

So, user error on all accounts. Time and experience and patience with newer devices pays off, and now the Bellus is a dream compared to the nightmare I thought it was.

Try it with Ti instead. Rock Solid in TC on all my TC Mods including the Evic mini :thumb:
Are you using SS Mode or manually input TCR?

Awesome looking Build there MMW  I bet she is a Flavor 7 Vapor Monster. Getting ready to build one of mine dual-Coil twisted 28ga SS for my enroute converted vintage Calabash Pipe that arrives Monday. Bellus with that build should be a perfect Mate.

Ok guys and gals, I posted a while back in this forum and I want to try something again. I love this tank. I have 6 bellus. I have serpents RTA's, I have Goiath 2 tank, I have kangoer protank mini's. I have several different tanks and have never bought premade coils. I just rebuild. I only do single coils, for me the dual coil is not worth the difference. This tank has as good of flavor as any tank I have ever vaped on, that is why I have 6 of them. Here is my delimma, I have watched every you tube video I can find on wicking. IF i fill from the bottom I have no problems, but if I wick it enough to not leak on top fill I get dry hits. I only put the cotton on the top shelf of the juice channel and I have to keep it pretty thin there or it will dry hit. If I do it like this though and try to fill from the top it leaks alot. Here is the part that is interesting, If I do build it with dual coil it is much more forgiving, I don't have nearly the problems. If I put the cotton a little past the frst shelf I can tell the the cotton is being pinched when the tank it together. I have seen people build this deck on you tube and I can never get away with how they build, I can see how it does not leak that way, but I always get dry hits. I usually build from .4 to .6 with single coil around 25 watts. I have tried cotton bacon, and Japanese cotton and it makes no difference. If I build where I get good taste and no dry hits It will leak when I top fill. I have even cut the cotton really short, like bowtie, then wet the wick and let the tank push the cotton in place when I put the build deck in. Like I said I love this tank, but this is the only tank that I can honestly say has beaten me on being able to top fill and not get dry hits. I guess it is a matter of pride. I see so many people saying they never have a problem and it is confusing to me. I am not the top tier in wicking and coild building, but I don't consider myself on the bottom of the heep either. If anyone has had this experience I sure would appreciate any hints. This thing has really stumped me. I will keep on using the bellus as I love the flavor of the vape, but it would be nice if I could top fill without leaking alot of juice. Oh, I have closed the airflow when filling and not closed it, I have also turned the tank upside down to burp it. I have tried everything I can think of.

Well from a laws of physics point of view there is no reason I can think of as to why it shouldn't leak when top filled. I fill my from the bottom. I think it's the quickest and easiest way regardless if it is going to leak or not. I generally don't top fill with the atty on the mod on the ones that can be easily top filled.

Bottom-fill "quicker & easier" than Top-fill on a Bellus ????
o_O
With all due respect,,, That Statement is Ludicrous & Nonsensical. Period. o_O

As to why jfoster1's 6 Bellus leak, can you post good detail Pics of your standard Wicking in place on Deck so those of us who have no such leaking issues with Top-Fill can try and pin-point the Root Cause (IF it is indeed your Wicking) of your issues?

Top-Fill (my Method).. Works for me with no issue. Your results may vary but shouldn't IF your wicking is adequate.
1. Close Air Flow completely.
2. Remove Top Cap.
3. Fill to no more than 1/8" from top of Tank Glass (Neither fill slowly nor "blast-force" Liquid into Tank).
4. Replace Top-Cap firmly (not "cranked-down") tight.
5. Open Air Flow to desired exposed holes.
6. Give it 2-3 stout long draws/pulls to re-establish inner Vacuum.
7. Vape with impunity and Enjoy.
Entire Process takes approx. 12-15 seconds maybe? Will time it next fill. Easy-Peazy and no Drips-no runs-no Errors ;)
NO Leaking. None.
NO Dry-Hits. None.
*80/20 (VG/PG) Liquid. Single-Coil Ti-built 7/6 wrap 26ga on a 2.38mm Bit yielding @0.28 R. Wicked w/Organic Cotton. Running at 20-25 W & @480* F.

Hope that helps and looking forward to seeing your Pics as am sure other are.

Zero issues top filling the Bellus and i have been using it daily for a good while now.
Same here. My Billow v3, Crius (several), Smok tf-rta g2, Griffin all leak, but not my Bellus (neither of the two I have).

I'm really tempted to pick one up and use in in a single coil setup as I'm a tootler and MTL user. I assume I can close the airflow down enough to make that work. I don't mind a looser MTL, so it could work out, and I'd like to avoid the leaking issues I've read about with the Griffin. So far I've had great luck with both my Serpent mini and Merlin staying dry, and I really hate leaks.
