For me it always gave better flavor and vapor having the coils at the same height as the airflow. I do get some condensation but not that bad.
The first row is mostly my smaller mods. The Bellus doesn't usually leave home.

Yup, 6 wrap 2.5mm came out to 0.36 Ohm. Amazing flavour, sadly my battery is almost dead so i'll have to try it again later takes 35w or more to really kick in. Think I didn't wash it enough, hint of machine oil or it's the new cotton hard to tell. Zero leaking just doing it normally so hopefully I got a good one. Didn't sit flush on my mod but thankfully pin was adjustable. First try no shorts lol she sits dang close to the post though.
Yeah other then rinsing it only twice lol. That was the coils that came with it, was 8 wraps so I removed two. No clue what AWG or grade kanthal it is but I'm sure my build will be even better. I'm guessing it's not A1 or 26 AWG if each are 0.72 Ohm.
Only comparison I have, aside from the machine oil, is it's like when my other tank is low on juice and is between that point of faster wicking and flooding so it gets juicy almost spit backish flavour. Overall very happy I don't have to buy anymore coils, will try single coil next though 35-45w kills my battery on VTC Mini and ain't buying a bigger mod just for my tank.
I bought one for a friend because she liked mine. called one day because the Bellus was leaking. I looked at it for her, and she forgot the bottom is keyed after changing wicks.

Never used dual coils before would 8 wraps 2mm take less power then 6 wrap 2.5mm? I seem to need around 45w.It's DIY creme de Menthe 90 vg/10 pg. I'm running dual 8 wrap, 26 gauge kanthal, 2 mm at .35 ohms and 30 watts.
The Bellus is a good tank, not my favorite but good. It's worth it if you're getting a deal.

I think they would use about the same length of wire so they should heat up about the same. The 8 wrap 2mm might be a hair quicker but I doubt you would notice.

Did you find it was better flavour at 2mm? More surface area would make sense.
I just find it easier to install the coils. The Bellus deck is kind of tight. Same thing with the original goblin and billow v2.

Yeah, could just slide paper between the coil and post and it was close to edge too. That was 2.5mm that came with it, I guess to show max size it can fit... 26 AWG 8 wrap 2.5mm. Would using the 8 wraps 2.5mm mean I should use less watts or more? It would be higher ohm then 6 wraps.
Rip is usin 26awg dual 0.5 ohm @ 32.5w. Figured that out to be 8 wrap 2.5mm... just seems odd I need so much power with my build, tend to prefer lower watts then most but my flavour dont even kick in till 35w +.
Maybe I just wicked it to tight. Was afraid of flooding so I made it pretty snug.
OMFG YEAH! Used to much cotton, just trimmed it a hair and taste skyrocketed into outerspace!
Now I have to sell my I2 charger and get a I4 and 2 more batteries so I'm not charging 5 1/2 hours a day lol. 2 3000 mAh LG's and replace my 3 2500 mAh Samsungs with LG's when they start to die... be around 1 year old in April.
