I really like Charlie's Custard too (Charlie Noble). I bought a small bottle and I'm ready to purchase a 120ml. I find it tastes a lot like Alloy Blends Blonde, which I also like but Alloy Blends is a bit on the expensive side. I also found that my Alloy Blends acquired a funny taste pretty quickly. Pretty quickly to me is about 4-5 months. It became a bit unvapable to me. The date on my Charlie's Custard (that I received about 10 days ago) was November 2014 and it tastes pretty darn good.

Initial impressions:

ITC
a couple weeks old. If it doesn't radically change after a couple more weeks my verdict will be meh. Also, more viscous than most 70% VG and does not wick as well in a tank

Charlie Noble
nice custard, price not too bad. You could do worse.

Gremlin
definitely in the vanilla forward camp like Crimmy's. Needs some age before I get serious with what I think cause I just got this one.

Steam TVC
initially I thought this was just another vanilla forward type like Crimmy's and Gremlin. It's deeper than that. It's not an intensely rich, heavy custard, but everything is there and the more I vape the more I like it. Maybe the most balanced custard I've vaped yet, and on the way to becoming my ADV. Very very good.

Got my Charlie Noble order, tried the custard, it's very interesting. I didn't like it at first. It has a spicy overtone to the vanilla and it didn't agree with me. After trying it a few times a day, I've started to really like it. 240ml ordered. WIN!

Still waiting on my White Label.

Got my ITC flavors and I'm going to let them sit for a while. Max VG. They smell OK but not amazing.

I found my ITC Custard #3 improved substantially after a full 4 weeks steeping. I enjoy it a lot, and just ordered more.

I also recently tried ITC Cinnigram Custard after just a 1 week steep and am already enjoying it quite a bit. The cinnamon is very light and blends nicely with the custard base. I ordered another bottle if that as well.

Custards rule.

Someone on the Best Gourmet Vendors thread said the owner of Sleeping Dragon has been known to do 60/40 if asked. I'm not sure how changes in the formula might affect the recipe, though!

Gotta pick some flavors now. I am fine at 60/40 as long as the PG os good quality. Do love the max VG liquids though.

Thanks

steam tvc arrived.. not terrible fresh but not great either. will check back in a week.
they sent along a 15ml tester of 'brittany's apple [edit: 'american', not 'apple'] pie' along with the 120 of tvc i ordered.. not super useful in 0 nic, but still nice. flavour and aroma are great if you're in to that sort of thing. bit of caramel.

pretty happy with casey jones 'derail' at 11 days old. the strawberry mellowed out a bit for a smooth nicely blended vape. won't be an adv for me i don't think (unless it matures quite a bit in the next week or two - it's still more of a custardy fruit than a fruity custard), but i'll be excited to try his other flavours.

This thread got me started on my own custard quest. Coval Vapes Strawberry Custard was the first custard flavor I tried when I started vaping and I loved it though with it being 90VG the flavor was somewhat muted. Still very creamy and enjoyable. So I picked up Vape Wild's On Cloud Custard and really enjoyed that as well. I've also tried DieselbyCG's Big Ant's Custard which is quite enjoyable, nice caramel flavor and pretty creamy but I don't know that it's custard-like exactly. Next I picked up Steam Juice's TVC. I agree with xastra - fresh it's not anything special. Certainly vapeable but not what I was expecting from a flavor called Thick Vanilla Custard. I'm also gonna set it aside for awhile and revisit (Jerry Juice, on the other hand, is amazing right out of the box but that's for another thread). I have Daft Spunk and Spunky Brewster from Sleeping Dragon Vapor on the way. Casey Jones, Charlie Noble and ITCVapes are next up to try.

My favorite by far is Grant's Vanilla Custard. I've been vaping on it constantly since I ordered some last month. The price would be reasonable if not for overseas shipping but still it's something I will order again every couple of months. I picked up 3 30ML (100 VG, Heavy VG and 50/50) and still have quite a bit left so I'm good for now. If you love custard, you should try it but the shipping was around $20 so if you're only ordering 1 bottle it might not be worth it.
