Well... I hope you guys are HAPPY!

I've now ordered.....

Rocket Sheep's "Purple alien"
Brother's Reserve "Sir Mac"
Dr. Crimmy's "V Liquid Vanilla Custard"
The Gremlin's "Vanilla Custard"
vape Wild "On Cloud Custard"
....

and my entire house smells like a bakery.

Still waiting on the last two, which are supposed to arrive today.

So far, Rocket Sheep's Purple alien has a very complex flavor, which I really like. Dr. Crimmy's tastes most like a pure custard flavor.. no doubt about what you're vapping...it's CUSTARD, and it tastes and smells great! What's strange is, my wife, who doesn't smoke or vape, insists it smells like flowers.

Go figure.

Brother's Reserve Sir Mac is a custard with slight cinammon overtone. I'm still trying to decide how much I like it, but every time the tank goes dry, I find myself refilling with Sir Mac, even though I have two other custard flavors sitting on my desk! Very nice flavor. Not sure if I'd call it custard if someone simply handed a tank with Sir Mac in it, and had me take a vape, but it does taste great, whatever it is!

Color wise, I happen to like the color and clarity of Sir Mac and Purple Alien over Dr. Crimmy's. They are both a bright, flaming orange color, very clear Dr. Crimmy's is more of a dirty yellow color and not nearly as clear. Not sure if you guys care about how a juice looks, but to me, it is a part of the equation, and I love clear, opaque juices with vibrant colors!

If anyone's interested, I'll let you know what I think of the last two when they arrive.

I received The Gremlin's V Liquid "Vanilla Custard", and Vape Wild "On Cloud Custard"....

Both of them have very little flavor at the moment, straight out of the box! I mean, VERY little flavor!

How do you guys generally steep your juices? Do you take the cap off, take the cap and (if it has one) the needle nose top off, or do you simply put it aside with the tops left on?

I let Dr. Crimmy's steep for about a week, with two or three days leaving it with the cap off, and it is now really amazing! Much more flavor then when it first arrived.

In fairness, The Gremlin's Vanilla Custard did come with a note telling the buyer to allow the juice to steep for two weeks, so I'm sure it'll get better.

Anyone care to share how they typically steep? Does it matter if the top/cap is on or off?

Thanks

ok so far, Vape Wild is almost a winner and probably a reorder, Steam and Dr Crimmys are not what I'm looking for. Both sweet and vanilla-y but no egg-y sour notes.

Before I settle for Vape Wild, which has the flavor profile I want but isn't as saturated and rich as I'd like, is there any other custard that I can get in big bottles for a good price that I need to try?

I order OCC with a flavor boost and loved it. In fact it's in my tank right now.

I haven't seen anybody mention Juice Mafia's vanilla custard it is good but not eggy enough for me.Like u Vapenstein looking for the eggy custard not overly sweet with vanilla.I tried Vape Wilds OCC when they first started out while it was good I didn't get any egg out of it tasted more like a vanilla pudding to me only had 10ml of it though.

By reading this thread don't see to many eggy one's so the quest for me too continues.Oh by the way has anybody tried Ahlusion's Fort Custard they have 30% off sale going on right now.

Has anyone tried Grants Vanilla Custard?

It's produced by a guy named Grant (who'dathunk it?), out of the U.K.

This is the only juice he makes, and it sells so fast that he announces when it'll next be available.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned Grants in this thread or not, and not really interested enough to go back through the whole thread and see....

I may have to order some of his Custard and see what all of the fuss is about.

well I think Grant's is the benchmark
no I haven't vaped it, no juice is worth that price tag

the recipe is well known and I intend to DIY some and share my thoughts

Vapenstein - I dunno, I ordered some Grant's Vanilla Custard last month and it is all I have been vaping. Yes, the shipping is high (the actual cost for the juice isn't bad, I think it's like $18 for a 30ml) but it's worth it. At least as a treat, I wouldn't order it every month but I could see myself ordering it a few times a year.

I just got in Daft Spunk and Charlie's Custard. Both are quite tasty and will be re-ordered.

Yeah Daft Spunk will be ordered for sure. I dunno if I'll ever order GVC, but I'll be making some soon.

Vaping Daft Spunk right out of the mailbox, it's good, but give it a couple of weeks steep time it's delicious. It's been my ADV for over a year now and at $55 for 120 ml, the price is fairly reasonable IMO.

If it gets better than this I'm fairly certain it will be my ADV. It's soooo good right now.

Wheen it turns to a deep amber color, you know it's ready, I always have 240 ml in reserve steeping, trust me it's best when the color darkens to that golden amber color

Question for you Slappy - I sometimes hesitate on buying large bottles like 120's. Have you found any "reverse steeping" or losing flavor toward the end of the bottle? How do you store your 120s? At the rate you vape, how old is the juice you are currently using at any one given time? Thanks for any info!

The only flavors I've tried that get worse over time that I've tried is any Bavarian Cream I've tried whether it was DIY or bought online Bavarian always goes bad after about a month or so, never had that problem with any custard flavor I've tried.

ETA: I store my e liquid in a dark drawer at room temperature. Heat and light can adversely affect stored e liquid also keep your bottle caps on, opened bottles will let flavor and nicotine escape
