Oh crap! I was hoping you knew how. Now I'll have to did through millions of posts to find info on it. I know I could just post the question but my posts don't seem to get much response. :(

Why would you think that I don't?

Just because I'm blind doesn't mean that I'm stupid. :p

Might have something to do with your comment about "Idiot #2". :p

Well that's the beauty of being an idiot in the land of free information!

Cuz we're all just students searching for the right teacher.

But I have enough of other people's knowledge to fulfill your wildest VV Dreams!

I am a complete idiot when it comes to electronics but if I understand you correctly you are saying that you can make an Indulgence a VV mod?? I have an Indulgence and am looking for a VV mod. I love my Indulgence but haven't got a clue how to make it VV. Can you elaborate or did I misunderstand completely?

I would guess there's not enough room to cram a VV circuit in the Indulgence cap. MadVapes sells a Variable Voltage Regulator Board kit that's pretty small if you want to try breadboarding it and then looking for a good place to stick it. Uh, so to speak. You might even be able to shrink it if you substitute a small piece of perf board for the supplied board. The critical parts are the trim pot, the voltage regulator IC and the resistors. Also, you'd need to drill at least one hole for the trim pot.

Ok. After a second look at the Indulgence, you might be able to stick a regulator in the switch section. If you didn't want to drill holes, you might still be able to turn the thing into a 5 volt mod with two batteries and the extended battery tube which gives you more options for varying resistance atomizers from 1.5 ohms and up. I just haven't seen any mods like the one you're looking for.

I don't understand most of what you said in your previous post but in this one you talk about turning the Indulgence into a 5v mod. That isn't nessecary because it comes with a 5v PT that attaches to the switch. I can get 3.7, 5, 6, 7.4v by switching out batteries and sleeves or using the PT. That's all fine. I don't mind doing this but I would like to have a true VV mod to go with this.

Well, you just have to figure out how to squeeze a potentiometer in the switch section as well (i.e. trim pot).

And doesn't the passthrough only give you 5 volts when you connect it to the computer? Wouldn't two stacked Li-on batteries regulated down to 5 volts for use away from the computer be nice?

The PT gives me 5v when I plug it into a wall adapter. As far as 2 stacked batts being reg down to 5v, I don't know about. I don't know if the switch has a regulator to do that. When I stack 2 3.2 batts I get 6v. When I stack 2 3.7v batts I get 7.4v. But 5v unplugged from wall adapter isn't what I need because I have a 5v Gold Digger for that. I appreciate your suggestions but what would be ideal would be a VV Indulgence that I could dial in any voltage without swapping out batteries. I've decided not to tinker with my expensive Indulgence and risk screwing it up. It's fine the way it is. I'll just buy a VV Mod and have the best of both worlds.

Fair enough. If you add a voltage regulator and a couple of resistors to the Indulgence circuit, you get a 5 volt mod. If you add a potentiometer on top of that, you get a variable volt mod. You just have to be able to open up the switch section to cram all that stuff in there. And you would want to drill a hole to mount the potentiometer.

The switch section is replaceable, which means you just have get a new switch section and then gut it to add the new components. However, since I don't actually have an Indulgence, I can't tell you how practical the suggestion actually is.

I also don't see where you'd be able to squeeze in a meter to show what setting you're currently at. You would probably end up going with a setup like MadVapes' voltage meter.

Did you get the schematic I sent or did I goof that too?

If you did, you can put any size batteries in the mod that you wish. (Forgot to tell you that...)

And I dunnow if you've seen or not, cuz I just saw it recently and thought "WOW, that's nice!"

    The KSD-639

    It's a VV e-Go with Fluxomizer-type atty!

It appears that GotVapes is the supplier, they have a nice selection.

But I just found the actual manufacturer, soooooo....guess I'll be looking at another wholesale spreadsheet!

I don't need this because I have an eGo Booster but it looks pretty cool. I couldn't find it on Gotvape's site.

    Hmm, you're right...I don't see it either!

(Got the info from another thread.)

But these "Maximizers" are really sweet lookin':

    GotVapes™ FLüX Maximizer 510 3.7ml Clear Tank Carto STAINLESS [gotvapes-fluxmaximizer-3.7-steel] - $6.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I did find the manufacturer though, so I'll have more info soon if anyone else it at all interested??

You might try the classified section on ECF. I bought a lil sis vv. It's tiny, like the size of a Bic lighter. The bad was the vv function wasn't great. I used it for less than a week. I read that they have come out with a better version. I haven't tried it but see it being bought and sold in the classys. Suggest you get the newer version if you get a lil sis.

You get what you pay for in the vv world. If you buy a Provari or Darwin and it's not a fit for you the resale is about 90% of retail in the classys. Congrats on your new mod search. Gosh, it's fun! :)

tell me about it. i started with an ego-t and was a love hate relationship!!!!! when it works well its great.... when it leaks its a pain. then found the joys of dripping, dual coils, etc...

just purchased a gg slim to replace the ego-t and will gift the ego to a friend that im helping to quit. the buzz will definitely be purchased as well as the provari.... now looking to get a tank for these beasts.
