What do you think about the Vandy Vape RDAs? I already have the Berserker Mini RTA, and I like, does anybody here have anything to say about the Berserker rda or the Pulse BF rda? I need a 22mm, so between them, does anybody have recommendation? I like Vandy Vape's designs and especially their craftsmanship.

EDIT: I just read through an entire thread about the Berserker RDA; some love it, other are not convinced, they say the flavour production is lacking and the vapour is too hot. I haven't found anything about the Pulse BF yet.

I got the berserker RDA, it's good flavour, I'm using the big hole, the vapour is fine. Only bad thing I could say because I chain vape the fins gets hot. I got 3 of them so I rotate when it gets hot.

Would any of these work with an iStick Pico, because I have one that sits around unused, and I'm a little bit on a budget.

Well, I wanted to get started this weekend, so I bought what the local vape shop had in store: a Geekvape Ammit MTL RDA, and I have just started breaking it in.

First impressions:
- Excellent airflow, multiple and easy to change positions
- Flavor: as good as with my RTA(Vandyvape Berserker Mini), but I’m still testing and comparing (that’s why I installed the same prebuilt coil in both of them)
- Installation of the coil and wicking is easy enough, but mine shorted when I put the upper part of the atomizer on, because of the way it’s designed, it it’s a little more difficult than my Berserker.

So far, that seems to be the only drawback, it took me about 10 tries to finally be able to close it up without a short and start vaping. It will get better with smarter placement of the coil.

@Vapefiend I did some searches and had some questions about the attys that you listed. I'm new to rdas. The ones that you listed seem to be older and there are some differences in the design compared to newer rdas. In addition to being smaller, the posts are offset. In some Youtube videos, folks commented that they got very hot because of the small size. And it was described as particularly hot on one side because the coil is offset. I think that was mentioned in a video of one of the Norbert attys. Will newer designs manage the heat a bit better because they are larger and the coil is centered. I prefer that my vape is not super hot and that the device doesn't get too hot, especially the drip tip. Also, will airflow on newer attys be better directed at both sides of the coil because it is centered. I'm trying to wrap my mind around all these different designs. Do these older designs still beat the new ones? Is the larger diameter of the new attys compensated by condenser chimneys so that they still have a restricted and flavorful vape despite the larger size?

In my opinion the smaller chamber the better the flavor. If you’re looking for something with a centered coil and airflow options try the Origen little 16 with a z coil build.

For the rest of these attys you really wouldn’t use any crazy coils, I use 28g kanthal and vape at 1ohm. Mtl is sort of taking on a new meaning these days but the attys I listed are true mtl flavor first. I wouldn’t consider any of these a hot vape. Warm yes but that sort of comes with mtl vaping in my opinion. Warm intense flavor.

Every atty can be built and wicked different ways some strange but that doesn’t mean the flavor/vape won’t be great. Maybe try some 14mm size clone attys to get a feel of how they work and the type of vape they can produce.

Forgot to mention. My personal favorites (in no order) are the Origen little 16, cyclone, divo, hornet, no fear again, and chalices for flavor.
