Best smaller or compact e-cigarette (combination system) for public and non-public use

Everyone on this forum is so awesome. i have had excellent recommendations on another post and suggestions but am still unsure what to buy to get started.

I want to just buy one kit and be done with it, but it has to be smaller than these huge ones and i also dont like the square ones either. however the cig look a likes also seem to not have "enough". i dont want to be unsatisfied and need to upgrade to a better unit.

what i have been recommended for a good (one purchase only) ecigarette is:

provari w mini nautilus or just provari (have decided against this due to its bulkiness and price - since i need to buy all now for a 6 month supply)
i taste vv v3 with mini protank 2
i taste vv v3 with express kit
mini nautilus & itaste mvp
mvp2.0 & mini kangen aero tank
aspire mini nautilus with express kit
aspire nautilus with BVC coils
Eleaf I stick with ego 510 adapter
KGO
Vision spinner 2
Provape provari
Aspire K1 clearomizer

which from all of these would be the smallest/sleekest/? the ones i youtubed seemed pretty big, but the i taste vv3 seemed a bit narrower. really not sure as to which from all of these would be smallest.

I like:

adjustable voltage etc
good battery life (however, perhaps i could get a good/small tank and just get smaller batteries and more of them. (if this would keep the unit size down)
good or double coils
smallest size possible for a good unit (big huge deep long puffs - i dont think - is the number one importance, i want to quit smoking)
elegant look (or as elegant as possible)
something where i can use any and all juices in it and they taste good
reasonable price, but can be on the mid or a little higher range

i dont like:

really small life battery or juice life
a big unit
something totally expensive unless its smaller and has good battery, parts, and longevity factor and life
something cheapo chinese that could break at anytime, however, if cheap enough will just buy more of these necessary parts.

i travel winters in third world countries (including countries where a woman should NOT smoke in public) and anyhow i just dont want to lug some biggest and bestest e-cigarette kit around.

Could i buy a good tank thats on hte mini or smaller size and just get various sizes of batteries and whatever else i need and have a combined system or two or three of them for:

one easy to be used in public
one so so in public
one nice good one for private use

without of course buying three seperate whole kits...?

seems that both main parts of ecigarettes can fit each other or are interchangeable with other parts. could there be some sweeet combination i could get/create?. i want to love smoking my ecigarette, i mean LOVE it...because where cigs cost $1 a pack it could become tempting if my unit isnt satisfying me. also i am a pack a day smoker for 30+ years.

I think poster who said you need more than 1 system to satisfy these options is right.

If I were in a country where smoking/vaping was discouraged, I would get an eroll kit for out and about. It looks like an Iphone. :) Perfect for errands and out and about. but not for full-timing. Or you might consider a mini ego batt, with small clearomizer, batts are less than 2" long .....and carry several, charge in the am or PM

Then for home, get a provari mini with extension cap + IBTanked or pyrex clearomizer.

From the recommended options i posted which one is the smallest/sleekest? also, i am getting to the point where i am tempted just to order the first thing i see like the itaste vv v3,........i like the aspire nautilus mini that people talk about but could i find the other half i need (battery section) that is smaller, something that would make the unit smaller?

hi steve, i cant seem to find anything on googling IBTanked HalfLing.....? isnt the provari fatter than other units?

It has a 22 mm diameter and is 5.5 inches long in that configuration from base to top of drip tip.

22mm HalfLing Tube

If you want something thinner, there is the ProVape-1

The ProVape-1 has a lifetime warranty and has replaceable batteries. i like it for out and about vaping with a 19mm HalfLing tank.

neither really look like something comfortable to hold between the fingers, but i could be wrong. i love the length but this looks like a short fat cigar., i think i would prefer something longer which it probably must be but narrower. is there anything out there or anything from the list i first posted like that? but better would be something with different battery or other component lenghts/sizes that i can just switch for out and about use or at home use.

If you want slender, either the iTaste vv3 (800 mAh) or the ARO Winder (900 mAh) is your best choice -- but at those mAh ratings, they don't have terrific battery life, so the iTaste is a better choice, because you can use it in "pass-thru" mode -- you can plug it in and still vape while it's charging. The ARO Winder is also a little longer, and it uses the standard eGo charger (it screws into the 510 connector) so it's not usable while it's charging. The itaste is an OUTSTANDING battery, with a very loyal following, and they're inexpensive enough to have lots more than one, as backups or fashion accessories. :D

The Mini Protank II is an excellent choice for a small tank, and it's pyrex so you can use any ejuice with it, with no problems, but it only holds about 1.5ml, and like most of these kinds of tanks, you can't really vape it past about half-empty, or it gurgles, leaks, doesn't vape well. A better choice for a tank that will hold more is another Kanger, the T3S; it holds 2.8ml. It's plastic though, so you can't use redhot or citrus ejuices in it. It's very inexpensive, so you can have lots, for different flavors -- they're about $6 at discountvapers.com.

Andria

PS: If you get the iTaste, don't get the full starter kit, get the express kit -- those iClear 16 tanks SUCK. They don't hold much, and those top coils are REALLY HOT on your lips. Better to get the express kit, and spend your money on a decent tank or two, than waste money on those awful iClear 16's.

I would recommend the Eleaf Istick. It does Not have interchangeable batteries, but it does have a 2200mah battery so you will get full day and maybe 2 day use out of one charge. It is cheap - I think I have read around $40. You will need to get 2 of them or 1 Istick and a second battery to use while the Istick is charging. It is really small, so great for stealth vaping and cheap enough so if you lose it or it gets confiscated you are not out a lot of money. Read about it here on ECF or on youtube.

Second choice or for backup I would consider the vv3. It is small and can be used as a pass through but you also can not change batteries in it. I started with a Vision Spinner 1600mah and it got me off the cigarettes. I smoked 2 packs a day for over 40 years. I have read mixed reviews on the larger, newer Spinner 2. The original is a solid choice.

The Nautilus Mini is an excellent choice. Make sure you get the BVC coils, they are the better newer ones. Remember the mini will not hold a lot of juice and will probably need to be refilled at least once a day.

I own 2 Provari Mini and love them. They are expensive, but worth it. I do not think I would take them all around the world with me. I love mine enough that I would be quite upset if I lost one of them. They are well built and you just buy batteries for it. I love mine. I also use Kayfun Lites, but you would have to learn to build the coils for them and I do not think that is what you are looking for at this point.

Good luck on your search for the right setup. You will get some good options to choose from here.

I know you said adjustable voltage, but let me run these by you.....since you are female you may very much like these.

That provape-1 that steve posted has a lifetime warranty.

It is very very nicely weighted, feels fantastic in hand. It's good for out and about as well as home, however, it is not VV. you would be using with LR coils (clearo or carto + tank)

There are also the baby bullets at altsmoke, again, not VV, but both BB and Provape-1 take 14500 batteries, you are NOT going to get a changeable battery mod slimmer than those 2.......and both can be very girly. :) I you get enough 14500 batts, all you have to do is carry the batts in a plastic case, take about 4 with you .....

These are mods that people are not considering a lot anymore and they SHOULD.

Because the itaste, when it runs out, you have to throw on a charger. Pain i the ...., you can't use it while charging, and when it runs out you are out o house, and you can't charge it or use it.

Really, for smallest NON VV mods, look at the Altsmoke baby bullet, and the Provape-1 14500s. Both are 510 connectors, you would need a 510-to-ego adapter, provape has the best ones.

I'm tellin' ya, if you don't need a big honkin' mod, and you want soemthing where you can carry batts (the 14500s are the exact same size as regular AA batteries!) so figure the mod body itsel will be just a tad thicker than a regular battery sized AA battery). and just put in during day, these mods should be a consideration ----

They are both made like trucks, they will last and last----using other people's photos, wish I still had my pics o them in my hands, female hands, but these will have to do:

BB in hand:

Provape 1 in hand:

Both are way thinner than a provari, but thicker than an ego battery.

The iTaste *CAN* be used while charging -- it's one of its best features.

The only thing you can hold between fingers, realistically, is a cig-a-like, as in the eRoll that looks like an iPhone: here is is next to an ego batt (not my picture):

and here is the classy attractive PCC case that it charges in. YOu charge the case and it lasts all day:(compliments of quorax, a member here):

For the time being mum is liking her basic ce4 clearaomizer and ego battery. In the early stages of vaping reminds her more of an analog than a nautilus on top of the ego battery. I am getting her to have a go on the nautilus from time to time. Eventually I'm trying to get her on the nautilus and a vv battery when at home and to know that it doesn't have to look like or taste like an analog for you to be satisfied. I have ordered some ce5-s clearamizers with bvc's which I am thinking for her will be similar to what she has now but a better vaping experience.

My ultimate stealth vape would be a MM Nanos mod in 18350 configuration (about 53mm tall) coupled with a kayfun in nano mode or an erlkoenigin (or prinz) with a nano kit.
You can't go smaller than that for a great vape (not comparable to ego style things or 510 attys)

However...

1. You need to carry a few batteries in your purse (I use between 2 to 4 a day)

2. The Nanos mod is unregulated

3. Kayfun and erlk / erlp are rebuildables so you need to know how to make coils

4. Not exactly cheap. nanos is about €70, kayfun nano (clone) about 30€. Erlk nano goes for 120€ or so and the erlp nano is is about 40€+30€.
