I heard that Boge is the best so I went and bought 20 unpunched 3 ohm. I also have some punched 2 ohm. They work but a bit dry unless I slot them with a dremel. I just bought 10 smoketech 2 ohm punched and they seem to taste better doing nothing but priming them. I would love some advice on best carto taste, consistency, punch technique, filling, priming, etc. etc. etc

Boge cartos 3 ohm. I did the 12 and 12 thing filled tank but no bubbles. Hmm what gives. I even filled with 100 pg. I primer puffed like crazy. Lots of bubbles. It seems the boges are a lot more work but yet once there going seems worth it
I like boges. I double punch, prime with condom method, slap in the Phiniac's, Vape Nirvana. I have not yet tried the Ikenvapes yet, because their site was down (still down?). I prefer the low resistance stainless regular cartos. I have found the XL and F16's don't have as good a flavor, imho. I use the Siam Mods punch and have worn out the Smok punches (threading stripped) and found the heavier Siam punch to be the ticket. The problem with the prepunched is that the hole(s) are never the right size for my juice to "wick" properly. Hope this helps.
I'm fairly new to cartos also and find the SMOK cartos seem to do better over a course of a tank (takes me 4 or 5 days to clear a tank). The Boges I have seem dry out, even after I poked an extra hole in it. I sit the SMOK tank aside for two days and it hits great the very first draw. Dunno, still a bit of trial and error involved I suppose.

The number of holes really depends on the juice you are using. Vg is thicker than pg and may not wick as well with one hole. I use primarily Smok(tech) and IKenVape. The only Boges I have tried came pre-punched by the vendor and his holes were too big for my thin juice, so I can't say I've given them a real chance. I use Smoktech most often. I get laser punched because tiny little holes work the best for me. I highly recommend you stay with name brand cartos. I have no problems using generic gear most of the time, but I have not had good experiences with generic cartos.

Very helpfully. I also used one of those smok punches and found it was pretty bad. I use a saddle valve at the moment but I'm looking at one of those aluminum carto punch v4 with a cobalt tip
I use only Boge XLs, and except for the Phiniac tanks, I slot them 4mm long with a jewelers file. For Phiniac tanks, I punch big holes. I use 10/90, 50/50 and 70/30 and I get good vape and no flooding. I get about a week out of one.

I've been using a Provari V2 with Protank 2 and Kanger T2 Clearomizers for awhile now. I find the Protank 2 is too "airy" for my taste and the T2s work great, but I'm tired of my juices ruining them. So I decided to try my first carto tank and ordered the AGR+ with Boge slotted carts. After the learning curve of being able to put tank together without it leaking I now find that it draws very tightly. I can draw harder, but it induces flooding. I have since ordered the Phiniac and am hoping for a better experience. Does anyone else have the tight draw problem with the AGR+. Also, I'm using a rather thick 30/70 PG/VG mix. - Thanks for any help.

I bought a bunch when they were available, and just got around to finally trying them. So far, they are better than both Smoktech and Boge, IMO.
I learned awhile back to just do what bad says to. We have similar tastes, and I haven't been disappointed yet.

After over a year, every time I use the smoke trek single hole or dual hole pre punches ( depends on which juice I'm in to at the time) I have less trouble and best draw ( not too airy or too looong) and most consistency with
