best tanks for provari

Carto tanks - My favorites are Loki Lab SS1 for awesome airflow, Cirrus pyrex tank, GP salt n Pepper for easy filling (the glass is thin and can break easily though).

The GP-SnP Glass Tube is 3mm "fused Quartz"... one of the thickest glass tanks out there. Glass being glass will break if impacted the right way ~ however, under many circumstances they didn't break with me.

It is also the only glass tank I know which has a 'logo' that has been diffused in it during the manufacturing process... not etched or engraved (if that's possible that is). It thus looks awesome. And as other's have chimed in ~ the filling process on the GP-SnP is the feather in it's cap!







The SnP has a 23mm variant, also with an optional Pro-Ring. Together, they are one of the top 'tank' models you could get for our Provaries.

SnP 23mm with pro-ring, KF Privadero and Prive Special, Loki lab with Loki Ring and Atmomixani Loki Tank... other than these top shelf tanks, I would suggest a Phiniac. Additionally, consider acquiring different beauty rings, to include the highly acclaimed Hippo v2 to help with airflow and overall look - since the beloved Provari tapers to 19mm.

I really like the Loki SS1 tanks--but I don't think anyone has posted a pic. Both the brushed and the polished. (I am trying to make these pics smaller! I think I have figured it out--but this one was already in the library so I used it.

They are the bottom caps in the Cingulum Compleo by Trevvapor. I think you can order each piece if you choose not to do the whole set. They are very nice--a little pricey but worth the money IMO.

Where did you get your SnP glass from? Mine only measures 1.53mm. It is THE thinnest glass tanks I have.

OD-ID equals the thickness of both sides. Divide by 2 and you get the thickness of one side of the glass.

Thin is true. I've lost 6 tanks to drops, etc. between two setups. TG the tanks are inexpensive and easily replaced. I am being extra careful with them now and haven't lost one lately. I have four backup tanks "ready." Regardless, they are still my favorite carto tanks.

Fused quartz has a lower coefficiency of expansion (less crackable from temperature), higher melting temperature, and potentially even more optically clear than borosilicate... but none of these are necessary in a juice tank. It's not more shock proof if you throw it at concrete or swing it at a wall, which is the important thing. But I guess that's why they sell the sleeve, which is what the Steam Turbine is....

The SnP are beautiful tanks tho, but at $20 for a plain tank replacement... ouch.

I really like the fill holes on top, but I would prefer a pyrex tank, if I did get one I would just use the ss tank instead, right now I am using the loki labs ss1 tank so far I am impressed.

I think I've decided to put a fill hole on the top cap of the caps I'm designing for my personal tanks. That would be extremely handy, I think.
