Maybe im completely wrong but... I received this and after the first tank there was some condensation on the bottom of the rta. I used some blue loctite and it is so minimal now I wouldnt consider it abnormal. Meaning that most of my rdas leave way more moisture and havent ever seen anyone complain about those rebuildables. I am thinking since the afc screws weren't in direct contact with my juice I would be fine. I waited about an hour for it to dry and it seems to work for me guys. Good luck. Flavor is good vapor production is outstanding for a tank. Dual 24 gauage .4 build with Japanese cotton.

Well, I rebuilt and rewicked today. You gotta really stuff the deck with cotton. Like as much as possible, plus a little more. Make sure the space between the negative and positive posts are filled with wick. I am about 2.5ml, halfway through the tank, and not one drop has leaked! Here is a couple pics of my build, and how much cotton is used.

No teflon tape on the threads, and bone dry so far. Using 85% vg DIY juice, no dry hits, great flavor. I may have hit the jackpot, and my day has improved! There is hope! Take note on how much tail I utilized to show behind and around the coil. It is a tight fit, but working great so far.

I don't have much tail on my wicks at all. I've been cutting them right at the deck edges, like to match the rounded edge. No tucking tails. No leaks whatsoever and its easy that way . I applied what I knew about wicking the Erlkonigin to this and the Orchid build.

I rebuilt the Billow today to 0.5ohm. I liked the 0.4ohm build better I think the Billow just isn't my atty. Why I would like the Orchid and not like this is beyond me.

That is how I wick my Orchid as well. That method did not work for me nor many others on the Billow. The Billow and the Orchid may have the same style of deck, but the Billow is a whole different beast. Very finnicky. I tried to cut the wick at the edge of the deck on my first build as I do with my Orchid, but it leaked pretty steadily from thr afc screws on the bottom. Leaving the tails longer and stuffing them between the posts and basically everywhere else on the deck besides the air holes has proven to be a great success. Eciggity recommends doing this on their site.

I was skeptical at first running such high vg juice, and I did not want to resort to taping my afc grub screws. This honestly worked a treat, and am so thankful. Now if I could just get the draw to quiet down and be smooth like my Orchid, I would be completely satisfied. My draw is super loud and whistles a bit, not smooth and quiet like my beloved Orchid v4. I saw a post about a "spitball" to quiet the draw down, but I have no idea what that method consists of, and doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

I'm on my 5th tank. No leak of any kind. I think the ones that are leaking must have poor machining of the threads for the afc screws or on the screws themselves. I know many of the people having this problem have a lot of building experience; more than I do. Its not that the Billow has finicky wicking; its that many are defective. I got the Orchid only 2 days before the Billow so I am not one of the people with extensive building experience on this type of tank I just got lucky and got a good one, I'm convinced.

I've been running it single coil at 0.8 ohm for a couple tanks. I've put some teflon tape on the air flow screws and that did seem to help the juice weeping a little bit.

I just rebuilt it with dual coils at 0.4 ohm. Using a 50/50 juice currently. Both good flavor and vapor. We'll wait and see about leaking.

Anyone want a gently used Billow. It's not really blowing my skirt up. It does "weep" from the AFC, although I have not tried any remedies.

Just filled up the tank for round two. First tank did not leak a drop! I can even lay it on it's side and no leakage. I cannot believe that the afc grub screws just up and decided to behave with my extra wicking method! All about stuffing the gaps between the negative and positive posts with your extra wick. So happy now!

Finally got my package from eciggity today, and...

They sent me the wrong frickin screws!! These won't fit the airflow threading/size
Awesome, now I'll have to wait another 2 weeks to use my Billow... They sent me some phillips scews that were a little larger and have a head on the top - these won't fit where the airflow screws were, won't thread in or even fit. The original AF screws I had were flatheads.

Now I'm really starting to get irritated.. I think I'm gonna go grab an Atlantis, and now I'm thinking of even trashing the Billow and getting a Lemo/Orchid

Dude....that really sucks. I feel your frustration! Did you lose your original afc flathead grubs?

Also to add, both the Lemo and the Orchid v3-v4 are absolutely brilliant and reliable tanks. I highly recommend them both.

Don't trash your Billow though. Just let eciggity know that they sent out the wrong screws, and they should send you the correct ones. Just tuck the Billow away for now, and grab an Orchid or a Lemo.

Yeah Ryan, I was just taking the flathead grub screws out to look at them, since I was having some minor leaking from the AFC. Dropped 1 of them and lost it.
.... that was a little over a week ago, and I only got to vape about a tank full out of the Billow before that! They sent the screws for free (+ a couple more juice-hole phillips' screws) but charged me a few bucks for shipping.

I don't know what these screws are that they sent me, they are phillips and have a head on them, unlike the original AFC screws for the Billow. Even without the head, they would be too narrow to thread into the Billow's AFC.

SO yeah I'm pretty frustrated! Not going to trash my Billow, but I kind of regret buying it.. If I knew I'd have these issues, I probably would've grabbed the Lemo or Orchid instead.
I'm definitely getting an Atlantis next though

I'm running 44W on a dual 0.4 ohm build. No problems.

I have a .25ohm build in mine and run it on a mech... 60W-65W or so on a full charge assuming some voltage drop? It wicks like a boss.

edit: it is wicked with Koh Gen Do.

The problem is that there's not much space between the vapor chamber and the outer glass so thicker e-liquid will just kinda get stuck there due to the surface tension. When using a glass dropper, the liquid sometimes doesn't want to go into the tank and ends up overflowing and making a mess. I think maybe a second fill hole would act like a relief valve and help to equalize the pressure so you can refill it easier. Either that or a needle tipped syringe / bottle would work.

Ya, the extra hole to release air on the opposite side would have probably fixed the issue you brought up with juice kinda getting stuck between the larger part of the chimney and the glass. I know it sucks, but I always use a syringe to full both my Billow and my Orchid. Just makes things easier for me in the long run. Anything else will most likely force air into the tank, therefore causing the dreadful leak out the side airflow when you put it back together and turn it right side up.

I have no complaints about my Billow's performance or leaking. But I find filling it with juice is a bit of a pain in my back.

I drilled the Top Cap and installed two Fill Screws. There isn't much room there, therefore I had to use M2.0 - 0.4mm tiny Grub Screws.
