And the curtain falls before it ever really goes back up. [emoji20]
I approve! My signature tag on a forum where I was a mod was: Be nice. Until it's time to not be nice. [emoji48]Calling me sir is like putting an elevator in an outhouse it just don't belong (quoted from movie Roadhouse)
Ventured out of the house to get an energy drink and came back with a chocolate milkshake...what happened?
Gotta love USPS. Just received two e-mails saying that their tracking numbers (of packages dropped just today) had updated to "Delivered" right here in Miami.
Now all I can do is wonder, who was the smarty pants at USPS who scanned the packages as "Delivered" instead of "Processed".Well, usually the next time they scan it it should go back to normal. Our internal Stamps.com tracking does show it's not delivered, so that's a relief.
I thought that might be the case...You know guys, it's probably past his bedtime...that's really why he has to leave!
They are probably related to whoever sent my package from Charleston WV to somewhere in VA and marked it out for delivery... next thing I know, they sent it back to Charleston to try to get it into Elkins again...but then again, I have a great mailman here and also had a great one in AK too, it is just the ones who get it before them that I wonder about

I wish we had our old mailman, Tito. My wife needed to get her jury summons reply in the mail and put it in the box to be picked up. Our new carrier completely skipped us that day! But he made sure to deliver the threatening notice that they hadn't received my wife's response in a timely manner...![]()
I don't even know who my mailman is anymore...I've never home when they come, and they seem to change on a weekly basis around here.![]()
We had Tito for about six years. I think he retired at the end of last year. Since then we've had a veritable revolving door...I don't even know who my mailman is anymore...I've never home when they come, and they seem to change on a weekly basis around here.![]()
That's what happens when people share a conversation instead of tossing around quips. Not as many posts for this visit but what ones that are here are long.
