I can't tell from your pic but is that the bridge of the atomizer? There is a "U" shaped piece that pushes into the rest of the wick. If it has 2 metal tabs (legs) on it you can push it right back in.

Completely different problem for me today but I cant find the answer on here anywhere so I am jumping on this thread....
I have two attys that get hot, vape nicely for a few puffs, then go cold.
Never had one do this before- and now I got two-are they goners? And since they work a little, will my warranty cover them? (was told if they work when I send them back they minus 30% value @@- if they test them they will work...they'd have to test them for a few puffs!)
