First wood mod I've tried and will be the last if I don't get some tools. Making it with a hand saw and a Dremel sucks.
Finish is Boiled Linseed Oil to keep it natural, Chip is from Dimension Engineering, and atty is a modded 801. Lid closure is a temp until the magnets I ordered get here. The biggest challenge was making sure the battery connector for the 801 was substantial and not break off due to stress. The two brass washers and juice catcher provide a lot of support so it should be fine.
It was a fun build working with wood for the first time; but I'm serious about the tools. It's too much work w/o them. When I do, the next will be Cedar and one from some Cherry I have stored away.
