LOL, yes I have!! Thank you for even remembering that. someday............

oooh, another version of what I'm looking for would be like abalone shell.

this is what I've been trying for the past year. If it can be done on a pen it can be done on a battery case. I'd pay extra.

I've seen vinyl like that, but unfortunately the adhesive wasn't permanent enough to withstand cleaning or tough daily use...still looking though. Maybe DM will have access to better stuff...but yeah, I can already picture that on the MaXx batts!

Thanks for the compliments, everybody! :)

Yes, Yes you do.....I want the most sparkly batt I can get... to match my sparkly case. A picture coming soon. (My case hasn't come in yet)

Empress, I think we're getting cases from the same place, though I've a couple of custom ones coming eventually. I am going to check with a friend of mine who makes pen wraps and see if she can make a custom insert or two for me for my cases. I need to get them in hand first, though, to see just what all I want to carry and how I want to carry it, heheh.

I have the stealth cap now, no way i use it like this.

SI uses SMD led's and those autoflash led's are not available on smd especially at the 0603 size.

Okay that's good . . . I THINK . . .

LED's - I know . . . :) SMD & 0603 size - I'm lost . . . :(

Persoanlly - although I think it is really nice that some people have the choice to use those "Jeweled" end caps to "Bling" their batteries - I do not "Bling" My Stuff with them . . . :(

"Not that there is anything wrong with that" . . .
(As Jerry & George would say . . . Seinfeld " Not that there is anything wrong with that" - YouTube . . . just in case you want to know)

Who would have thought - I'm a more Plain & Simple kinda Man when it comes to "My Stuff" . . . :D

Those are beautiful. How did you DO that? :?: :)

Thanks! I took the ash cap out, drilled a hole in it, filed it on a nail file to flatten it out to just a hair above the the level of the air vent. After it was level, I glued on the flat backed 'bead'. They are glass and the light shines right through! I got the package of millefiori beads at JoAnn's. If you would like a few, I have a whole bag, just pm me. :)

That's so nice of you to offer the beads! I really appreciate that, but I have to go to JoAnn's anyway to get some other supplies and I'll just get some while I'm there.

Thanks for the directions. It looked like a millefiori bead but I wasn't sure how it would stick to a rounded surface.....didn't think of filing it flat. lol This will sound stupid but I'm not sure where you drill the hole in the ash cap or why.

Well, I drilled the hole to let the light shine into and through the bead brighter. Plus, on the black edged one, that was a black stealth cap, no light at all would have been able to get through. I say drilled, but what I really did was poke the tip of an exacto knife blade in the center of the ash cap and start turning, the plastic is soft and 'drills' out easily. I just wanted to make the ash cap into a base to hold the bead so I didn't want it as thick as it was on the rounded surface.

Have fun, and I will be watching to see a photo of your creation!! ;)
