Yeah but it goes straight into your lungs when vaporized.....still you only use a drop or two so not enough notice...It does add a nice kick.

What about the California Medication....I know it increases vessel size and blood flow....since I can't spell dialate.....Just food for thought.....but I'd be checking into it if it were me....

Ms. T's has a 0 nic cinnamon, I use the medium nic and it's one of my favorites!
Red Hot Cinnamon Candy E-Juice - Ms T's Bakery Essentials
I have also started searching for 0 nic juice, cinnamon sounds yummy.... i looked at freedom and madvapes and dont see any 0 nic cinnamon, freedom does have 24mg, if anyone knows of one please post a link. In the past couple of weeks I have ordered so much 18/24mg juices, now kinda regret i went on a e-juice shopping spree...

That is one insensitive doc with very little understanding of what it takes to quit smoking. You've gotten some great suggestions about how to cut out the nicotiene from ecf members. It sounds like you are fairly new to vaping. I can only speak for myself, but making the switch from cigarettes to vaping was a big step for me and I have gone about reducing my nic level in increments, cutting down a little bit at a time. I think if I had to do it all at once that that would produce enough stress in me to cause all my extremities to turn blue :) I encourage you to seek another opinion, hopefully from someone with a bit more compassion. I wish you the very best.

Exercise, right?

Anyway, you know what? I started at 36mg about 2 years ago. The transition to 24 was easy, 18 not too bad. 12 was rough for about two or three weeks and then fine (but better than cold turkey). But you know what, I didn't push it. I'd just vape whatever mg I was on until I was consistently satisfied with it, and then drop a level but not all at once. I'd move to some juices at 18 and some juices at 12 for example. Then one day the lower mg would seem to be doing the job relatively well and I'd make the switch.

I'm currently vaping 8mg, with a bottle of 4 in my favorite flavor that I use when I just want to vape but don't really have a craving. Sometimes I'm a little edgy and just not getting my due from the 8mg so I use a little 12mg. But I'm enjoying it, and it won't be long before I'm vaping 4mg and trying to vape 1mg (just to be close to zero but still be able to console my mind that "hey, there is SOME nic in there!").

I want to get to the point where 6mg is my "heavy hitter". That's a long way from 36mg or analogs. And I've enjoyed getting here instead of wanting to pull my hair out every time I walk past a smoker.

I admire cold-turkey folks, but I'm fine with progress.

People have been mentioning the cinnamon flavors, for me cinnamons have a full lung filling hit. But there is also the lemonade flavors and some other flavors that use the lemonade flavoring like some Orange Juices (like Ms. T's) and Mountain Dews (like VaporBomb's). Stuff with the lemonades in it has a strong throat hit for me - in the throat more than the lungs.

My circulation has improved too since switching to vaping. The cramps have subsided and best of all the cold air and water don't hurt excrutiatingly anymore. I now recover within minutes even after washing my hands in icy tap water. (I don't have a hot water heater). My brother, on the other hand, hasn't stopped smoking, hasn't switched to vaping, drinks soda all day long, and has lost a few toes to it so far. I'm trying to get him to switch to vaping so he can gradually reduce his nicotine intake one drop at a time without going bezerk, but ... he's too stubborn so far. My point, though, is vaping really does help some cases, like me, so hang in there. Good luck!

your doctor probably covered this too, but since i didn't see it mentioned here i'll point out that reynauds can also be caused by amphetamine use (not just illegal but also adderal/ritalin etc. ADHD meds), and can come and go. I know this because when I went on ADHD meds last fall i thought my fingers and toes were going to freeze off over the winter, and my left ring finger became numb and tingling. the good news is that it is not necessarily a permanent condition, and sometimes your body adjusts over time. I didn't quit smoking, and i didn't quit taking the adderall, but sometime in the spring my finger stopped being numb, and this winter i haven't had the frozen digits feeling that bothered me all last year.

good luck!

Thank you so much all you wonderful people I feel so much better since I wrote my original post it is all because of you!!

My doctor didnt really say much except just how nicotine can be the cause and that I need to quit smoking nicotine altogether. To be very honest he didnt seem too concerned (not saying he doesnt care) but it is like he was just making a suggestion. He didnt put me on any medication, I do not drink soda or not too much coffee neither so... i guess if i do have reynauds then it is the nicotine.

Thanks again to all your suggestions, i am taking lots of vitamins, have already started ordering new nic juices either 0 or lower nic level than what i ususally order. Cinnnamon, method, lemonade, maybe even EverClear. In a way this is good, because now when i make my order i dont have to contemplate what nic level and what flavor, although I just got my RY4, and love the taste!!

I have Raynaud's, I just got it about 4 months ago when I started taking high blood pressure medication, never had it when I smoked cigarettes so I don't think it's nicotine related. I did some research on it, and while the US website for the med I take doesn't list Raynaud's as a side effect the website with drug interactions for Great Britain does list it. I have been told that calcium channel blockers are good for Raynaud's and they reduce blood pressure too so next time I see the doc I will ask him about it. If you have Raynauds, you know it= your fingers (and or toes) get white then red then dark blue, it's scary. My mom had a real bad case of it so I'm sure I probably inherited it from her.

I just learned about Reynaud's this past quarter in Nursing school. I remember cold being one of the triggers of it. As with any type of illness, be it circulatory or otherwise, quitting smoking, ie quitting nicotine will always be advised, I'm sure.

Bit of medical trivia: if it affects one extremity it's Reynaud's Phenomenon, if it affects both extremities it's Reynaud's Disease.

Vapor Bomb has some serious Cinnamon juice that you can get with 0 Nic. I ordered their Fire and Ice (Cinamon and Menthol) and it took my breath away and it was zero nic. Some fiery juice right there.

Two things to llok into as supplements to help with any circulatory issues :

Vitamin D (may even be able to reverse arterial plaque to some extent; one of the many important roles of this hormone is to take calcium from the blood/arteries and put into bones where it belongs.) You can safely take in high doses of D but be careful if combined with vitamin A, as A cannot be safely taken in large doses (at least longer-term).

Ginko Biloba (a 'herb' - actually a tree leaf, one of the oldest species on the planet; both dilates blood vessels and reduces stickiness of platelets, so epecially useful in fine vessels - extremities and brain).

Throw away any vegetable oils (except virgin olive oil); the bad ones are sunflower and corn oils (sunflower seeds themselves though are nutritious). Cut way down on sugary / refined foods.

Switch to 'low salt' (balanced potassium and sodium).

I hope you can wean down to low or zero nic. I have been vaping just plain PG/VG no nic, no flavor even and I enjoy it. I still use some nic juice but everyday I vape zero to cut down. I was thinking of flavoring some with lemon or key lime, something refreshing for zero nic. I like heavier tobacco flavors too but sometimes that light refreshing vape is just what I need. Good luck to you! bnrk
