Ok guys i need some feedback. I have no problem setting up the iatty or the odysseus at whatever ohn im looking for. what i do have trouoble with is getting the only juice i use on a regular basis to taste right in the odysseus (or any rebuild-able for that matter). Any of you boba-heads been able to get it to taste like it does out of an atty or carto? I want this to work because it looks so good on my new SS Stealth but i keep going back to the UFS. Ive beenusing .999 silver wire and the Kanthal off of ebay along with the wick from COV. has anyone has success with this same combo using boba's bounty. Im wondering if even after my thorough cleaning the is something throwing off the taste or if its just how it tastes with that wick.

First make sure your ceramic is cleaned thoroughly, what worked 100% for me was torching them until they glowed red then allowing them to cool down naturally.
My juices taste great, not the same as a chinese atty as the ody seems to bring out more flavour.

I think you will probably get more flavor from the same ohm when using the ody -- so try increasing heat (maybe a lower ohm coil)
I had to send my ody back to Bruce, but I am planning on use GJ in it. If that happens, I will chime in with my experience
I don't use BB, but if the "off" taste you're getting is in any way floral or soapy, its the same taste issue ALL of us have dealt with. I had to clean mine like 5 times. Also, if the ceramic seems stable - totally in one piece - pull it out of the metal housing and clean the two pieces separately. Thoroughly and repeatedly. heh. Its worth it once the weirdness is completely gone.
I thought bobas bounty tasted a little different in the iatty 1 also and it didnt have the soapy issue. I used the 116 in the iatty now im using the stock wick. I really just need someone to confirm that they are using bobas in their ody and they are getting the same flavor (not strength of flavor) that they get from attys and cartos. I had the same issue with other rebuild-ables as well. Not the same taste but just "different" than the taste I get out.of a carto

boba's is tasting funny in ody not sure why but doesnt seem to wick well. Gorilla works fine. No sure if its just this coil being wrapped to tight. I taste nothing but, wick with a hint of boba's the weird part is its not burnt.. :shrug: not sure but will test again with another coil when my No resistance shows up tomorrow. Btw 1.5ohm coil wrapped like frights with short piece of wick layed on top of longer wick.

pretty much same thing i got going on, not sure if its a wicking issue or what because at the beginning i drip 4 or 5 drops right on the coil to pre soak it and i still get the different taste. same issue on the Line and the iatty.
Bobbas or gorilla only tastes good to me when dripping. I could never get it right in iatty or oddy or a2
I have one of my Odys filled with Boba's. It does not taste like it does when dripped on an atty. They flavor is not bad, just tastes different. It does however, make huge plumes of vapor. I mean enough to smoke out a room! I found it tastes better with a higher ohm coil at 3.7-4v. GJ tastes like normal.
Hmm does the same thing happen when you use the nichrome that came with the Ody? I have noticed sometimes I get a metallic taste on my juice.
I think the issue is that you are used to a flavor that comes via cartos and atties and you feel strange when you have the clear taste of a liquid inside Ody. Also I am sure liquids are tested to atomizers and cartos before they come to merket, so liquid makers try to make their liquids taste nice on those atomizers. Maybe the clear taste that Ody gives shows exactly how the liquid tastes.
In rebuildables BB tastes "old" to me. Like I let it steep too long or something. My opinion, vape it only in the UFS.

to each there own i enjoy the throat hit from gorilla after awhile it looses its taste anyway so just good vapor and th. If i could find another juice that did that i would most certainly use it.
i was having the same issue with boba's. what i found that works for me is i wrap a dual coil around a double wick at the top single wicks down the sides. vape it with the juice flow open all the way taste is great, alot cleaner than a china atty and monster throat hit. i am pleased with it, boba's is and always was my main vape
