I've used a lot of Boge 2Ω cartos .... almost 200 I think.

I've ordered them from 4 places and seem to get a varying degree of difference in the cartos.
It's doesn't always correspond to the place purchased but it does somewhat IMO.

We all know their are slight differences.
The length of the filler inside can be up touching my drip tip or much shorter ... almost half way on some. That doesn't bother me, though i think I prefer it shorter. If its up touching the tip there is more chance of juice in the mouth if you over squonk a bit.

The big thing for me is the color of the filler, And how the juice soaks in.

#1 .... The ones I like best.

The filler is snow white ... whiter than white if thats possible :)
And the first 8 drops can sit on the top for 3-5 minutes without moving ... Even 50/50 VG/PG
These seem to produce the best flavor the longest.
They are also the ones you really need to soak for hours before you first fire it off.
They can burn easily.

#2 .... Meh ...

The filler is still white but it looks a touch grey ... or even slightly wet when compared to type #1
Often times the first drops are soaking in before the 8th drop hits the filler.
A huge difference to type #1
These sometime (but not always) have an odd flavor.
I was convinced that they had some type of prime on them so I tore one apart and pressed the filler between paper towels ... they were still dry .. ??

I'm not going to name suppliers here, but I have one that almost always provide type #1
Two that I have got almost an even mix from.
And one that over two shipments always sent me the type #2 :(

Anyone else use enough to notice this or have any thoughts or input ??

I buy my LR boge 1.5ohm from GH1 and I found a couple in my last batch (so far I'm working on my third pack - 3 more to go...) but I've found there were 2 or 3 out of the ones I've gone through that were crap right from the get go.

I just put 2 new ones on my mini and grand and they had very white fillers and took a while to fill just as you said. The taste and smoothness were top notch once they were good to go. If I'm remembering right one of the bad ones in my batch was easier to fill (the juice soaked in faster) but my first puff tasted horrible and it was dead within minutes. The other lasted a couple of days and clogged up so I tossed it. And the flavor of my juice could never get through.

I haven't been paying close attention to all of this but now that you're pointing it out and I'm comparing it to what I am experiencing I think you are right. I'm a carto user all the way so info like this is very helpful. Thanks for pointing it out :)
