damn quigs, that's rough with the bike thing and wifey.. I've got my own story of what's kept me off a bike but for me it was more sportbikes :)

on the squonking while firing thing I've thought about that before but don't think it'll work well with something like a chalice because squonking will submerge the coil and a submerged coil don't really vape well at all. might work with something that just has a wick draping down into a well type thing like magma veritas origen style but not atties that submerge the coil on squonk. I like bf atties that submerge the coil with minimal wick, I think it wouldn't work for those kinds of setups.

I also thought about misting a coil while it vapes too, but then there's the problem of the mist being sucked into the airstream giving raw juice particles in the vape... misting might work if it was able to mist from inside the coil maybe, so it could be a wickless coil that gets finely misted from inside as it's fired... that's a possibility I guess but problem would be keeping an even mist covering the whole coil internally not allowing hotspots, yet still containing the mist enough to keep raw juice out of the airstream
I did the big fat bagger thing because I started to feel like every time I jumped on my GSXR I was playing Russian roulette...a messy end was inevitable... time to slow it down, cruse (and get some feeling back in my arms[emoji1] ).

As for the auto squonking...I remember researching a tiny micro pump used in the medical industry... it was kinda programmable where all you had to do was tap a tact switch and measured amount of juice would be pumped... looked really promising but it wasn't cheap (in fact the exact opposite of cheap, yikes)... but it would be cool as far as mod design goes...no bottle to deal with, you could build a hard reservoir...that would be a pretty big game changer to bf building

DNA programmed to activate the micro pump when temps have reached threshold? That would be cool.

I'm going to give the mech version a go...just because. With a short throw and flexibility in the contact buss, I should be able to control the strength of the squonk while firing.

IDK, lot's to play with, and it'll be fun trying.

Just arrived in Singapore on a flight and I see you boyz have been busy dreaming up the next best thing to sliced bread. Cool, I'm game for auto anything. I remember back when I was a young gun I always drove a stick shift, now at the ripe age of 52 I stick it in drive and find it at times a drag to even press the gas pedal

Turbo on the sportbike issue I've had a stretch of 4 months in hospital including 3 weeks in ICU when I was 26 when my Kawasaki ZZR1100 and a car had a disagreement on I-95. Needless to say the bike lost and so did I. That was the last time I got on a bike. As someone said it's not a case of if but more a case of when. Shame because I love bikes.

yeah man when it came to sportbikes I was pretty wreckless... I had a ZX11 and my balls just got bigger and bigger until one day I almost swallowed them for real... was my last time on a bike... partially because of what happened and partially because my wife just got pregnant with my first son so I just couldn't afford to die anymore

now that he's 18 I'm considering a nice cruizer but the way things are in the city now a days it's almost a suicide mission to get on a bike in nyc... my mentality now is don't get on a bike unless you can afford to die and I still can't afford it

Gdeal I was looking at you mods on Shapeways yesterday and I have to tip my hat to you brother, you've done one hech of a nice job of making a very good looking mod at a relatively good price to any would be modder. Although I'm not of fan of anything plastic I see why you went with that simple solution. Any thoughts of a stainless steel or aluminum version we can mod the heck out of and pimp it up? Power to you bro for a great idea and an even better production solution

Thanks Capt. Havent really look too far into metal bodies, I dont have the equipment to work with those materials. (I did get a quote for a prototype Alum shell...ouch $$$). But it could be possible to get something more basic together for modding. What do you have in mind?

BTW, I have made a wood shell version that uses the plastic internal structure. :)

I may try and do that eventually. That looks so nice G.

I wish I had the time/tools to work with wood. What kind of wood is that anyway?

Wow now that's nice indeed buddy. I have a question for you because I saw as I said all the printed parts for sale but what about the hardware? Do people have to just source the hardware on there own or do you also have a source for all the hardware needed for these.
Well frankly as I said it's a great idea and now that I saw the wood shell for the internals you could also provide an aluminum shell as well or an aluminum and wood (like top and bottom caps in Aluminum and center in wood.
BTW where is that wood shell available from? Sorry for all the noob questions here but I'm tempted to get a few and start working on them. You're on a great thing here.

I spent some time with someone that was trying to make a bf with a pump. I think it could work but you have to somehow deal with the vacuum. For any volume of liquid that is removed from the tank it must be replaced with air. Had you gotten that far along to have a way to deal with that? I have been hooked up to a pain pump a couple times but did not inspect it, I would assume there was a vent somewhere.

something like that needs a check valve, allows air in but not out, could be as simple as a ball and a spring which would double as the fill port
