I'm new to vaping myself.
I got the KGO kit from Hoosier E Cig Supply. Arrived in the mail on December 31st, 2011 (good timing).
Haven't had a tobacco cigarette yet (I was smoking at least 2 packs a day or more of "lights" ... usually Camel brand).
Again I'm new but I've been happy with this and for the price I think it is a great way to go for the beginner. Combined with the right cartomizer (I'm using the eGo Mega Dual Coil from smok Tech as seen in this link) and you've got a great e-cig.
I should point out that I had to try a few different cartomizors before I found the one that I am happy with and pretty much all the others I tried just did not give me the amount of vapor I was looking for but the aforementioned eGo Mega Dual Coil one is awesome.
Juice or e-juice or e-liquid or whatever you want to call it is a bit tricky yet (for me). There are so many types that it is hard to find one you like without experimenting. One tip I can give (which I experienced) is that the juice tends to taste different (i.e., better) over time. I would shake the bottle up as soon as you get, open it up, maybe even leave it open for a few hours, and then close it up and let it sit at least 2 or 3 days before using it. I bought some Dekang brand RY4 (RY4 is a type of flavor which is tobacco mixed with caramel and vanilla) which tasted nasty the day I got it in the mail but after 2 - 3 days it started to taste really good.
As to the OP ... if you want something that tastes like Tobacco you might try Dekang's DESERT SHIP flavor. It's supposed to taste like a Camel cigarette and I'm not so sure it does but it does have a mild tobacco taste and I like it. I've also seen many others claiming to really like this particular flavor. Also Dekang makes several tobacco flavored juices (as well as other flavors) so I would start there.

Just realized the OP first posted this about a good two weeks or so ago now. I'm curious if you ended up buying anything yet and if so what?
