I dunno. I read the description and it sounds like it's heavy on form and short on substance. Really - back lit button and date and time display...? At the same time it appears to have a fairly narrow range of only 3 fixed voltages.

It may be less frills, but I'm glad I went with a true variable voltage instead:

SmokTek "SmokBox VariCool" - Custom variable volt Box Mod - Efficient switching regulator! adjustable 3,4,5,6.5 volt's & everything between.

I can live without a date/time display on a pv...

You might check out Krimson Kustoms: Home - Krimson Kustoms

I have two of the Little Man units and think they're great!

VV Power GRIP Feeder is what I have, the owner says the regulator he uses is best you can find at this point.

Unfortunately I can't confirm or deny that claim, I've only had it a day, and at lest with my Ali' it took several months before the first regulator died, then they seemed to die every 2.5 ish months...

I like my Madvapes vv box mod for $35 (0v-7.4v with two 14500 batts). It uses a linear regulator and stays cool at 4v. I've noticed no appreciable heat from any setting.

There's also one that I wish had been out when I ordered that has a voltage display in the side. I have the digital VM display chip in my parts box and plan to install it in mine next time I'm bored.

It's not a box, but a tube mod, but the Lavatube looks good.

right on. i had overlooked the 3 setting thing. 4.0 isnt high enough im betting. im going with the varicool smokbox.

I think for the money it's one of the the best VV values out there. If you low ball it you save twenty bucks with the MadVapes version, but don't get that nice horn switch and the better voltage regulator. (I already have a fixed e-button dimple in my thumb from E-Power and eGo buttons...) If you spend more you get a LT with the flashy display... that you set for one voltage and the over regulated LT then changes to something else it considers "safer" for your choice of resistance. What fun is that?

Enjoy! (Oh... you already are. :))

enjoy your mod Eric!

Rick i want to thank you for the shopping comparison you did. you were considering some of the same mods as i was.
