Yeah, and it is supposed to get better! If I was a cloud chaser and chain vaper i could see using this thing up in 4-6 hours. But I vape like I smoked, I take a break every hour or so and vape about as long as before.
This is just what I was looking for! Very happy with the mod overall.

I took mine to work today all day as well. Started at 98% at 6:00am and ended up at 45% on the charger at 8:00pm. Really liking the battery life. I vaped an etire Goblin Mini and half of a Goliath! 480 degrees, 35 watts with a 75 watt preheat. Never missed a beat!
One thing I can say is I wish it had a bit more weight to it. When the Goliath is on top it is very top heavy. Mini is no issue at all.
Thinking of finding a way to put a little lead in the bottom but not a bunch of room.
How many ml of juice are you going though?

Ah, that explains what it lasted so long for you. I'm running 35W without preheat and it lasts about 8 hours on the LiPo. I don't know if I'd call myself a chain vaper, maybe more of a consistent vaper.

I have no point of reference because I have not seen any of the other colors in person, but my I love my alumylon. That said, I think you'll be really happy with the black or any color for that matter. The mod is really nice looking regardless of the color. That said, I think a green one would have been really awesome. I went with the alumylon though for the fact that it is the natural finish of the enclosure and it will hopefully hold up better for my purposes. Lol, wish the enclosure was able to be swapped so I could use green when I feel like it and alumylon at other times, etc.

that would be very cool...they should offer battery door covers in colors as an additional accessory... i was really torn between alumylon, green, or white...almost went with green just for something different. but like you i haven't seen in person so went the safe route of black!

Got my 133 back. All fixed and firing like a champ. Escribe playing nicely with my Virtualbox setup running windows 8.1. I can see the hours and days passing by playing with this thing. It is ridiculously good!

@TheotherSteveS you got it back pretty quick and i still can't get the escribe to work lol!!

yeah. Just a couple of days and esauce sent me 5x15ml bottle of Uncle Junk's as a gift. Fantastic really!

as for escribe, on yosemite I followed this guide

http://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/post/mac-suppport-7534870

I just used the VB images as suggested
http://dev.modern.ie/tools/vms/mac/

and downloaded escribe in windows and installed.

maybe try that. Its not as good as a full install but I dont have windows disks so its a cheap alternative. The downside is that the counter resets after 90 days but if you make a snapshot after installation, you can revert to that when the time comes.

ps. using windoze 8.1!

Behind you
door fits like a glove I have to say so I think it is a magnet-free build!

It looks like there are magents there - little disc magnets. And in the DIY listing for the 133W it still says magnets.

So they have been removed or are we still seeing different versions ship? -Mags

The DNA133 definitely has magnets. I can't say whether they are different or not from the old ones but I can say for sure that they are strong little guys! On my alumylon 133 the button has a nice solid click. The up down buttons are a bit stiffer but they have been breaking in (stiffer relative to what I would consider a nice solid fire button with good feedback)
