Went and bought an ecig at the mall today with a friend I charged it for about 4 hours with my laptop and the provided usb charging cable. Poured some juice in her and she won't vape. Basically no matter what I do the light turns on for ~4 seconds, flashes twice, and then turns off. Read through the manual and tried "unlocking" it, still no luck. Don't know much about these, the battery says "green man". I took it back up to the shop and they couldn't fix it and basically told me I'm .... out of luck. Here's some media which might help get a better understanding of what I'm dealing with.

Sorry about your bad luck. It Could be a bad clearomizer.

I never buy my gear in the mall. They don't know jack.

You can try and find a vapor shop near you and see if they can help.

If that doesn't work, I suggest this. It is a very high quality battery with high quality clearomizers. It will leave your existing unit in the dust.

Itaste VV 3 0 Starter Express Kit Authentic Guranteed The Latest wth More Rivets | eBay

Select the "starter kit" (complete kit) option in the "kit type" pulldown menu. It will add 20 bucks to the price, but you get a wall charger as well as 5 clearomizers. Both the battery and clearomizers are head and shoulders above what you have now. Also the unit charges via MicroUSB so you can actually continue to vape while it's charging.

These guys provide free shipping and it's fast. Put the order in on Monday and it will be in your hands before Friday.

After 4 hours they refused to assist you in any way??? That is .......**G ridiculous! Obviously they are NOT interested in earning a customer's business. I would go back to the mall and ask to speak with the manager of the shop, explain everything, including how you were treated (good, bad, or indifferent) and request either a refund or an exchange for a working unit. Pointing out that they stand to earn repeat business from you for supplies (juice, clearos, coils, etc.) can't hurt your cause. If that doesn't work, then I would also make it clear that if this is how they treat their customers that you will be happy to spread that information and your experiences far and wide. After everything is resolved, I would go to Yelp and Google and fill out reviews of the place, then possibly go as far as lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would also look into the Mall and see if they have somewhere that you can lodge complaints against store owners, some do, some don't.

HTH!

I'm a new vapor and using CE4's myself I've gotten off ebay. Out of 7 or 8 so far, I've had 1 bad one, and it did kind of what you are describing. Even w/ the button held down, it wasn't heating the wick up. I ended up draining the juice and putting it in a new 1, w/ no problems. A lot of ppl on here wouldn't recommend the ebay route cuz of the possibility of bad quality stuff, but I'm getting the CE4's for not much more than a dollar a piece, so I have no issue w/ the occasional bad one. Other than that, I think they perform better than I ever expected e-cigs to work. I plan on upgrading, but for now I'm fine w/ this setup. There's also a possibility the battery is bad, but since it's lighting up for a few seconds like that and staying solid blue, I don't think that's the case.

I just noticed you had a video up. There's a chance you screwed the CE4 on too tightly, which can push the center pin on the battery too low. When you tighten the charger and CE4, you're supposed to stop at the 1st sign of resistance. They basically say a light tightness of using just a single finger w/ your thumb. I can't be sure that's the case w/ yours, but you can try pulling the center pin back up a bit. It's attached to a spring type thing, and there's videos on youtube on how to do it. And even if it is a bad clearomizer, those CE4's are very inexpensive to replace.
