Ok, I thought that might be a contributing factor. To keep the wicks down do you just toothpick them into place with plastic chamber on and the reservoir off?

Usually if they are down when I start they stay in place, but you can use a toothpick or whatever to put them back down.

My problem is having them down from the start. The wick was getting pinched when I tried to keep it around the posts so I just put each side of the wick up and then put the chamber over it. So I guess I'm not getting the wicks in the right spot from the start

When I'm putting the tubes on, I wrap them both clockwise around the posts then while holding them in place carefully put the asembly in the tube without getting the wick caught between the tube and the bottom assembly.

will these work with silica wicks? Just bought 20 feet of 3mm so im curious lol. These look sweet! i want one! vaping zone seems to have them in stock. Are these the ones with the air holes corrected?

I don't know why silica wouldn't work. Yes the ones in stock now have the bigger airholes.

The one i got don't have the hole drilled all the way in the bottom ware it should let juice drip on wick has any one seen that and what size hole can i try to drill in it.Worked good when i wet the wick and put it together.

Have you tired using it? That is just a pin hole it's very small. If you have a piece of Kanthal coil wire you could try running that through the hole to make sure it's open.

Thanks for help bluesnake and others think i have it working good now.Mabey the juice was to thick or the hole was blocked,i stuck some of my wire threw hole and rappped wickes as you said arond bottom clockwise now it's feeding thanks much:D

Glad to hear you got it working. I was worried because I hadn't heard of any not wicking. I know when I first got mine I couldn't even see a hole so I had no idea how the juice was supposed to get to the wicks. LoL

If I'm not mistaken I think there is going to be a larger size available sometime in the future.

Well I got my order from Alibaba today... they were recently out of stock, so I'm not 100% sure if I got revised ones or not. I haven't opened them up much but it's a tiny hole between the top reservoir tank and the coil tank. The draw is super-tight, so I didn't have to wet the wick, really... just gave it a good suck with my thumb on the bottom and the wick got soaked. This is an awesome tank, everything a bottom coil should be, everything that the pump-cart system should have been. If I find some way to measure the tiny hole, I'll get back to you but with my 25% VG mix, it seems perfect.

Attempted a rebuild last night on an unused one. The style of the pins looks similar as the Chinese bully RBA knockoff I have... but easily done, mostly. I'm wishing I was more skilled at coiling because I'd really like 4 ohms because I prefer cooler vape. This is exactly why I prefer bottom coils over top coils (somebody was asking about this). That little distance traveled from top to bottom helps cool the vapor... hot vapor just gives me an asthma attack and a sore throat. And I think that bottom-coils make a milder flavor... some people see this as a bad thing but with certain flavors, it's really not.

I'm going to attempt a dual coil later tonight... two 2 ohm coils = 4 ohms, right? It should be a vapor monster, too. I can definitely see these as an all-day vape (although carrying two is easier than refilling)...

Oh and someone was wondering about using a stainless steel mesh for wicking? It doesn't look doable because the lower chamber often seems a little overfull and silica wick picks up any excess around the bottom when it's ready to soak up more. SS would be very hard to get that shape that the coil stays raised but also picks up excess liquid when it's needed.

And the idea of a filler hole in the top? Not a good idea. There seems to be such small holes in this thing that creates a balance in liquid and air pressure that allows liquid to move between the chambers but only when you suck hard enough. A top hole (unless plugged) would mean there would be no vacuum effect at all; it would become leaky and very unfriendly for your pocket. As it is, this thing doesn't leak, no matter how it's positioned. And because of the way you fill it and put it back in place avoids all the leaks I've come to associate with other bottom-coils like the Vortex and other CE-bottom coils. It's everything those cartomizers should have been. These things are almost worth their cost even without the ability to rebuild.

These sure are neat and trouble free for most of us

Got to say after setting my wick wrapped arond the bottom then insert this thing is great can't believe my tv caremel popcorn hasn't ruined the 1st coil yet never has tasted this good for this long without gunking up.
Does anyone know the size of the tubes i need to know the id(inner diameter) and outer diameter please like to get me some polypropylene tubing for it so i don't have to worry about it cracking.I assume these are the polycarbonate tubes they come with as most are or am i wrong anyone know?
